@Taffy: Quiet, until Mother came home each night. Then there was a flurry of her yelling at us to not look until she said so. Her window shopping has become actual shopping.
@Taffy: Tis likely to be clothes, or trinkets for us. Mother strongly believes that a recipient should not see their gifts before delivery. Father and I, when we shop for each other, will put what we want in the cart and receive it from the other on the day. We have learned to feign enthusiasm well enough that Mother thinks that we do the same.
@Little Crane: My mom thinks the same but she is not as angry about it as your mom. ^^;
My sister and I aren't super straightforward but we both know that if we are going to spend money on each other it's going to be for something that the other really wants. No waste lol

@Taffy: What she does not know will not harm her. Father and I have learned to feign surprise well enough that she knows not the difference. We are all getting new books, it would seem. Father and I spoke of getting Mother books, this confirms it.
