Just as the title states, I usually marathon movies on Halloween. This year I want to maybe add something new to my traditional list. I do have limits to what can be recommended to me. Please nothing with rape: Evil Dead 1 both original and remake, I spit on your grave, last house on the left. You get the idea. Please no gore porn, I just find when you make the gore a main character the movie can get a bit boring. Only so many times you can watch fake blood spew everywhere. Please nothing from Rob Zombie or Eli Roth. Lastly and I know a few of you will do it anyway, no anime.
Movies already on my list:
The Frighteners
Halloween town (all except the high school one)
Rose Red
The Haunting (1963 one)
13 Ghosts
When Good Ghouls go Bad
Rocky Horror Picture Shore
Shock Treatment (new to the list)
Hocus Pocus
Scream 1-3
Nightmare Before Christmas
Corpse Bride
Beetlejuice
Forums Entertainment Recommend me movies for a halloween marathon
@ghost: Murder Party is the one with
-high five- The Frighteners is on my traditional list. Love that movie.
the guy who gets kidnapped by a bunch of kids who want to commit a murder, and then get distracted by a bunch of stuff, and there's like a story about the guy pooping himself?

Do you like really cheesy/tacky horror movies? Like, kind of fun to watch but actually kind of bad?
If so, I highly recommend Hollow Man and Ghost Ship.

@ghost: I was so excited when I got Shock Treatment, it's such a hard movie to find sometimes. I do really need to rewatch Trick 'r Treat.
Welp, all my recommendations are pretty much up there already. Jeepers Creepers comes by recommendation of a friend, though I found them to be kinda corny. But they're still plenty creepy! The Alien movies are supposed to be "horror", but I don't really find them all that scary. Alien vs. Predator is entertaining enough, and AvP: Requiem was actually kind of cool, featuring the xenomorph / predator hybrid. c': A couple others from way out in left field are Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and Scooby Doo and the Witches' Ghost. c:
@Vii: Two of my favorite Scooby Doo movies actually. They will definitely get added to the list.
@Another Movie Addict: Awesome, mine as well (Zombie Island particularly). They felt like the creepiest of the movies, to me, and the animation style for both was decent. ^-^
@Vii: I liked Zombie Islands story more, but The Witches' Ghost soundtrack was so catchy.
@Another Movie Addict: Very true! As a matter of fact, I can remember arguing about the Hex sisters with my cousin as a kid, now that you bring that up. c':

@Vii: I liked their songs. Can't quote any of the songs anymore, but I remember them being pretty catchy.
@ghost: I have a very unpopular opinion on Little Shop of Horrors. What's Devil's Carnival about?
I got my copy on DVD, was really excited when I found it going cheap on Amazon. Totally used, but I found it.
