There was a groan before someone surfaced from beneath a nearby desk.

"Owwwww." She said, moments before they idenfied who it was as Lunet. Her head was pounding, and she was rubbing it lightly.

"Lunet? What the hell are yoi doing here?" Angela asked as she lightly pushed Zeke aside.

"... tech support." Lunet answered after a moment. Angela just paused.

"I... didn't know you were working today." Angela admitted.

"Well, I am. Now tell me. What's this I heard about rezzing Aedan?" Lunet asked as she put her visor back on her face, as that knock to her noggin had knocked it off her face.

"......" Zeke was silent.

"What you heard was a stupid idea, posed by a man that clearly had no idea what he was talking about." he told her.

"Something that you're best off NOT hearing." he continued.

"The act of resurrecting someone like that is banned. It is banned outright, and severe punishments fall upon the one that does it." he told her further. "It is considered one of the worst crimes to commit in the mage world." he went on.

"That's all." he said further.

"....." he was then silent again, before glancing at Angela.

"It's not something to seriously consider, right Angela?" he asked his girlfriend.

Angela was silent as Lunet nodded.

"Yeah, oh yeah. Of course." The younger blonde said.

"Not a problem." She said with a nod.

"Now... what's with the tech support you were here for?" Angela asked, deviating the conversation. Lunet looked toward the medic before sighing.

"I know you mostly wanted to know why I was under the desk, as I work with software... I was trying to swap cords." The teen answered. "But... no dice. That computer is deader than the dark ages."

"...huh." Zeke muttered.

"Well, that sucks." he said.

"Looks like you'll need to call someone in for hardware tech support." he told Angela.

"Lunet, you do software stuff." he then said to Lunet, to which she nodded in response.

"Damn." Zeke mumbled.

"That'd be... Leo, yeah?" he asked Angela.

He then sighed in relief, quietly, that the conversation seemed to have been successfully deviated from the illegal practice of resurrection.

"Yeah, Leo or one of the techy boys here." Lunet answered with a nod.

"I'll put the order in. It'll probably be done tomorrow." She added as she laned forward on the desk, her elbows on the surface.

"Now... jumping back.

[b]"How much trouble would someone who did anything be if they did something like that?" She asked, her tone making it apparent that she was curious.

"................." Zeke was silent for a moment, before pinching the bridge of his nose.

"A lot." he replied.

"As in, a LOT kind of a lot." he went on.

"I'm honestly not sure if the death penalty would be implemented or not." he admitted.

"At the bare minimum, the one that did it would be barred from practising alchemy ever again, prison time would be given, and it'd be a good amount..." he went on.

"They'd become a pariah in the mage world, overall..." he mumbled further.

"I mean, Aedan's father's life was legitimately ruined because of it. Or... well, so I've been told, anyway."

"That's... good to know." Lunet then said.

"Anyway, I did what I can here. I'm out. See ya." She then said, a bit quicker than would be usual. Before either of them could say anything, she was gone, out the door and heading quickly down the halls.

On the way, she usd her visors connection to her ophone and called the one person she thought would benefit from this news.

"Hey, I'm heading to the break room." She then said after he'd said hello. "Can you meet me there? Or should I come to you? I ... just overheard some information you may find interesting."

There was silence for a moment, before the one on the other end answered.

"Uh, well..." they stammered.

"See, I'm still kinda busy looking through-" he started to say before he was interrupted.

"What?" she then heard, the person clearly having taken the phone away from their ear.

She then proceeded to hear a bit of a back-and-forth, but it was more that she could hear someone else that was there insist that he take a break. And she was NOT taking 'no' for an answer.

"According to Kiah, I'm taking a break." he told Lunet.

"I'll meet you in the break room."

"Kiah...?" Lunet asked.

"Wait, are you at the Unit?" She asked after a moment or two.

"Yeah... She's been helping me resear---" Cain started to answer before Lunet interrupted.

"I'm on my way down. She'll be useful, possibly." With that, she ended the call before makign her way down to the area in question. As she made her way in, she saw Kiah snatching a book out of his hands.

"Take a bloody break, will you?" She asked

"I was just... that's..." he stammered further, before sighing.

"....." he was silent, before shaking his head.

"I'm not getting out of this, am I?" he asked.

"Nope." Kiah responded matter-of-factly.

Cain then sighed again, before looking over to where Lunet was.

"Hey." he greeted her with a small wave.

"We're trying to figure out what happened to her." Kiah then said.

"Nono. Nevermind that for a moment. Cain, from what I can gather, your mom's heart is going to give out." the teen stated bluntly.

"But.... why not let her die... then rez her?"

Cain... had a flurry of emotions rush through him in a short amount of time.

He was silent for a few seconds, before shaking his head.

"I... ah..." he stammered.

"Y-yeah, I was... aware that... Dad told me about..." he said, before just sighing.

"Anyway." he mumbled.

"Let her die... and then resurrect her?" he asked.

"Like... like when grandpa did it so long ago?" he asked further.

"Whoa. No. Nonono. That's seriously illegal." Kiah interruped. Lunet just shrugged.

"But... she was already a zombie. Is there any record of her not being a zombie since?" Lunet asked.

"If there isn't, they why would it be an issue to make her a zombie again?"

Cain had opened his mouth to say something, but paused and froze, silent.

"I... ah... hm." he mumbled.

"I... hate to say it, but that is a very interesting question." he admitted.

"It was already done to her. Shouldn't doing it again be all right?" he asked Kiah.

"In theory, anyway." he clarified.

"I realise there is no practical answer, nor is there a precedent for this, as... well... pretty sure the situation she's in has never happened before in recorded history." he then commented.

"Even still. Cain, from what Aedan's told me over the years I've been here, it's dangerous. And I don't mean just as a legality." Kiah said.

"But he'll have you and me to help. Plus Dad." Lunet commented.

"I don't care! It's dangerous, and while ok. I'm all for helping, Cain, I want you to seriously look into the risks." Kiah continued. "You could lose your life, it can stop your heart, break you rbrain... and that's not even touching on the risks for the one being resurrected"

"Cain's already technically dead, I'm sure he'd be fine." Lune then said.

"...you do whatever you feel you need to." he said.

"Just... you're surprisingly nonchalant about this." he told her.

"You... ARE aware this is one of the biggest crimes that can be committed, right?" he asked.

"....." he then paused, and shook his head.

"Everyone that helps me in this... just say you were ignorant of it." he suddenly commented.

"That way it'll only be ME that faces any potential consequences."

"And Dad'll keep me out of any trouble." Lunet thens aid with a light laugh.

"I don't think we need to worry about that. Just tell me what I can do to help." she added

"I need to find the journals that have that info in it." he continued.

"Need to see what we need and stuff." he mumbled further.

"...as long as you're sure about this." he then told the two that were there.

"In scale AND potential consequences."
