Looks like my weekend has been canceled.
Friends from college wanted to have like a reunion dinner while one of them is in town (she joined the military). But she's sick, so we're going to shoot for next Saturday instead.
I'm kind of nervous, because my life has gone like no where. I'm still unemployed living at home, and donating blood plasma to pay for things.
@Another Movie Addict: I think that's true of a lot of people now though.
The job market is so full, there are tons of unemployed people, especially younger people.
I blame the baby boom and the fact that the population of adults is at an all time high.
How are younger people supposed to get jobs when all the older people took them all?

@Lina: In a lot of cases the older folks just can't afford to retire, like at my mom's office. Ladies will retire for a year, get pension, then come back for a job. Because they kind of have to to survive.
@Another Movie Addict: Yeah, that's true. But they have the job market flooded. >.<
@Lina: And of course employers want like 30 years of experience for an entry level position. >w< I'm hoping to get my photography business up off the ground. Gonna pass out business cards at a local convention.
@Lina: Lol I got to try something. My mom isn't going to live forever.
@Another Movie Addict: I've just been at the same retail job forever. And I'm glad to have it.
@Lina: I've applied to everything, nothing has been too low for me. And the same story, I don't have enough experience to clean toilets.

But you have to keep reminding yourself that you aren't alone.
It's nothing wrong with you, or anything you did.
And you're working towards starting your own thing, so you wont have to rely on finding a job.

@Lina: Nah some of it is something I did, I made some very bad decisions in my early years of college.
