I've found that it helps tremendously if you can shift your perspective from the typical "I need to lose weight / diets are some kind of punishment" thoughts that most of us have when faced with a diet to more of a "this is a conscious lifestyle change that will help me feel better" type thing

It sucks that most good foods are way way too expensive. But when my food access is fine, it's easier. Like simple breakfasts and lunches, with a decent dinner.

@Wildfire: Lol I hate all of those things. Boiled eggs are gross, so is all seafood, and a salad would actually work. Right this second I'm snacking on apple slices.
