"......" Ryker was silent as he saw the storm clouds clear, and the blizzard subside.

He looked the woman, now sound asleep, and sighed.

"...won't be long now." he whispered.

"Guess it's time." he mumbled.

He then gently lifted the woman up in his arms, before using 'his' demonic wings to float down to the ground, before he carried her inside the house.

"The future is decided now." he told himself quietly.

Why can't I just be

Eke looked up as Ryker walked in.

He saw the sleeping woman and then looked to the window.

The blizzard was over.

He got up and stretched his sore arm.

"I...guess its time huh?" he asked

"Seems so." Ryker told him.

"This is it, Eke." he said.

"...." he was then silent, and sighed.

"We both have women in our lives now, Eke." he told him.

"If that's not a reason to survive this, I don't know what is." he added with a light chuckle.

He looked to aly and sighed. "Yeah...yeah it is" he said

"When i come back we are getting marrieed" he said smiling and kissed her gently.

He looked to ryker and put on a coat.

"Cmon lets get this over with."

Aly was silent as she watched Eke.

"All right." she replied.

"I'll hold you to that." she told him.

"You just take care of her." Ryker said. "She's helped us for so long, it's time we helped her." he reasoned.

"I agree." Aly said in response.

Ryker then looked at Eke, and cracked his knuckles.

"Let's do this, bro." he said, making his way to the door.

He nodded and walked outside.

The still cold air stung his face.

"Follow me..." he said starting down the side walk.

As they walked, Ryker placed a hand on Eke's shoulder.

"Hey." he said to him.

"Not to make this sound ominous, or put up red flags, but thanks." he said further.

"Thanks for helping me find my will to live."

Eke looked at him.

"Hey its what i set out to do" he said looking over.

He sighed and walked through the forest.

"Careful its tricky here" he said moving through gnarled roots and branches.

He nearly slipped, saving himself by grabbing a branch above him.

Ryker helped him back on his feet, and made sure he was steady.

"Lotta trip hazards here." he muttered.

"Tricky, to say the least." he said.

"You all right?" he then asked Eke.

"Didn't roll your ankle or nothing?"

He shook his head.

He was eerily quiet.

His mind was burdened by what he had to do.

He crawled through some brushed and the trickle of a stream could be heard.

"Theres the cave" he said

"......" Ryker was silent as he regarded the cave.

"All right." he said, cracking his knuckles.

"Looks like this is it." he told Eke.

"Here we go." he finished, before starting to march towards the cave, rolling up his sleeves.

"Upstart mortal, I'll show HIM what Hell magic can do." he added, though his voice was more like the demon's now.

"Ryker...ryker wait..." he grabbed his arm.

"Let me...draw out my dad. your biggest goal should be destroying the crystal. its huge and blue." he said.

"Itll free my dads soul and hell be able to die again" he said.

"It also frees the other dragons as well as keep the necromancer from binding any more" he said a little desperately.

"Destroy the crystal..."

Ryker stopped and was silent for a moment, before sighing heavily.

"Very well." he said.

"Destroy the crystal." he repeated.

"Goooot it." he said further.

"So... what do you want me to do in the meantime?" he then asked.

"Hide, or something?"

"The crystal is deep into the cave." he said.

"Itll take a while to get too it. just...wait till i have my dad....my dad...erm...distracted..." he said looking down.

"Just...stay low" he said

He then walked towards the cave waiting.

Didnt take long for the undead dragon to walk out looking more decomposed than before.

Eke sighed and transformed.

The roaring from the two echoed through the forest.

"..." Ryker was silent as he saw this.

'...really wanna fight.' he thought.

He then sighed and shook his head.

"Stay on target." he mumbled, before going into the cave.

"Gotta find the crystal." he said, closing his eyes, concentrating for a moment, and then going deeper in.

'Yeah, it's this way, kid.' the demon inside him said.

The tunnels were twisting but fairly straightforward.

There was a path that led to a yellow light of a latern or candles.

And there there was a path with a dim blue light that would brighten if one got closer to its source.

"....blue?" Ryker muttered.

"Ah-hah. Excellent!" he said.

He then started to run for the blue light, trying to be as careful as he could, but also trying to be as fast as he could.

'The sooner that's destroyed, the better.' he thought.

'And the sooner that foolish mortal is taught a harsh lesson, the better.' the other entity inside him added.

At the end of the tunnel was a crystal larger than any person. it had to be at least 10 ft tall.

It was also wide at the top coming down to a almost point at the bottom.

It float in the air giving off a faint low hum.

Every once in a while it was gently flash as the souls in it moved around.

As pretty as it was, it also felt wrong and ominous.

"....." Ryker was silent, before letting the magic within him take over, bulking out his body a little, and coating him a thin film of red.

"Heh." he chuckled darkly.

"All right, let's see how resilient this is." he muttered.

He then charged forward, and aimed a single punch at it.

Nothing special, nothing weird, he just wanted to see how fragile this was.

The crystal not only didnt evencrack but the sound reverberated letting the necromancer know it was in danger.

There was a blast back forcing ryker away.

It wasnt going to be easy to break
