@Bonnie: I did a little shopping, just getting something I need for my trip next week.
Now I'm at the cafe by work so I can work on stuff before my shift starts.
Next week I'm going to Arizona to visit my Grandmother.

So we are a little bit warmer.
Our forecast says snow today, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday. But I leave Tuesday morning. :3
@Bonnie: My parents are only about an hour drive from my place, so I see them twice a week.
But my Grandmother is a 4-5 hour flight, so I can maybe visit once a year.
I would love to see her more!

- @Lina: that’s good that your parents are close. I’ve never flown in a real plane. And what I mean by real is that I’ve never flown on an airline. I have been in a plane that just went up in the air and back down for like a weird program when I was younger but I don’t remember much except I was in it.
@Bonnie: I once went to a country fair that had a helicopter and was doing rides for kids.
It was just straight up and back down, but it was a really cool experience!
It's the only time I've been in a helicopter, or even seen one up close.
The only times I've ever been on a plane were to visit my Grandmother.
When I was like... 11-12 years old she moved away and we started visiting for Christmas every year.
But we only went maybe 5 years and then she retired and couldn't afford to buy us tickets.
Now that I'm an adult though, I save all year to go visit with my sister. ^^

- @Lina: yeah it was similar it wasn’t a long ride at all, but I was like 7 so I just remember going up and down. I’d like to take a flight once.
I’m sure your grandmother loves and appreciates you guys coming to see her. I know my grandmother loves when all of my siblings come over and my grandfather. It makes me happy to see them happy.

@Bonnie: I remember the weird old kids books my grandma had.
And eating ice cream with lunch because she doesn't follow the rules. XD
And Christmas at her house. She's always been the best.

- @Lina: AWWW that’s too cute. My grandma was a stickler so we only got ice cream after dinner. We had to go to bed when we stayed at her house on a school night and we would get to work earlier than when our parents would drop us off. She was the best too.

@Lina: I can only handle winter for so long, and I know that it is super cold out for today and tomorrow, I know that I can handle winter, until a point when it is -50° lets hope that it don't happen to be that cold anytime soon.
