@Eruca: Yeah he is. Seems to be enjoying doing the Youtube celeb thing. Which Youtube can be a much kinder place than Hollywood.
@Eruca: Which of course is why all the studios are nervous these days.
@Another Movie Addict: Are they?
I guess I've stopped paying attention to Hollywood for a long time now... They lost me a long time ago.

@Eruca: My inner conspiracy theorist in me, thinks a lot of the new harder rules for Youtube was pushed by Hollywood and Television Stations. Every new recommend is nothing but Hollywood's official channels, strangling the independent producers.
The oldest movie I've seen is probably The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920). It's a silent horror film that I watched in my Modern German History class in college a few years ago. It was really interesting, if also really strange lol.
@Another Movie Addict: Ah yeah, that's true.
I mean advertising goes to who pays for it the most. I guess that's how it works.

I have seen a few films of the Silent Era, though I don't know the exact dates they came out (this was during a televised marathon.)
The oldest one I can name and place a date on is Nosferatu (1922)

@Phantasma: I should really watch that, there's a remake of it that is in the works right now.
The Orphan, with Charlie Chaplin
I've always wanted to lift a large quadraped over my head
