@lupaprinceromulus: It's probably a money issue if renovation hasn't started. My apartment complex had a halt in their renovations for the outside makeovers. Turns out the complex ran out of money for the project. It's back up and running now, but whoever thought this out didn't think it through right, because prices should have been done and negotiated at the beginning, not pay as you go.

One thing I will NEVER invest in are the machines that do both washing and drying in one machine. It might be ideal if you live alone and don't do much laundry, but I have a family of 3 including myself and laundry is a never-ending story for us.
