Anyone seen Beastars on Netflix?

oh i didnt know theres a show on netflix ! i'll definitely have to check it out on my bootleg sites~
It's a show that is trying really really hard to say something amazingly profound, but says absolutely nothing. Like 'he sees me as myself', but we never see him seeing her as herself. She's just an object to him. I have so many strong feelings about this show and its hype.
@Bioshock: See I keep hearing about how amazing it is, and I don't believe it.
@Bioshock: Oh I'm in for stupid logic. The show's logic is crazy stupid, which makes sense that they're teenagers. Teens have stupid logic most of the time. But like it's just a gritty Zootopia pretending it's way more intelligent.
@Bioshock: I think it's trying to have a serious conversation about racism and all that jazz, but I've just seen that done a lot and better.
@Bioshock: That's what I got from the short first season. Like it's trying to be early X-Men levels of smart, but it isn't.

I think I will love the manga.

I saw a few episodes. It seemed like it had potential, but could go either way -good or bad- as the storyline developed. I haven't read the manga - I'm not sure if not having that background is helpful or not as I watched the episodes.
