Hello Tea Tales~
I have a D&D session tomorrow myself.
Hi Dragoness129
Oh you're lucky! I last played DnD ... Pretty much 15 years ago. havent beeen able to find a group to have to play with since... Or well I briefly had some I played Vampire the Masquerade with, but the group slipped rom each other... am planning on just starting to listen to some Critical Role soon. get some entertainment out of the lockdown. ( though the country is slowly trying to open up again.... ( which has resulted in a lot of people slacking way too much on the rules *facepalms * )

@TeaTales: My group plays on Roll20 with voice in Discord. Could always join us for one if you want.
I wanna listen to that one myself. I listened to the first season of one my friend was playing in. It was cool.
@dragoness129: OH I would definitly be interested in that. thought I dont own any of the books ^^, also would your GM and group be ok with it..? Dont want to come crashing in if youre in the middle of some epic plot ^^,
Also what timezone do you go by? is probably relevant when it is online like this ^^;
Oooh which friend? I discovered some from LA By Night's streams ( aka an other roleplay stream I follow ) also are actors in critical role :3

Tea - Yeah, my husband's discord is open to all our friends. We often play games and add people to it.
Hubby is also a DM for one game, Curse of Strahd. One of our friends is doing Tomb of Annihilation.
That's the good thing about the places, can interject people everywhere if need be!
Player's Handbook for 5e is a free pdf. Plus, most of the things can be found on Roll20 or just googling.
Her username is AliceinZombieland. She plays in Gods of the Universe podcast.
@dragoness129:
That sounds nice. And timezonesaint an issue?
Oh, I will look for that! Thanks for the tip. Got absolute no experienc with Roll20 ^^;
Hrmm. Never really heard of hat podcast before. though the username sounds familiar

@dragoness129: Yes, I love D&D! I was just doing a campaign with a Tiefling Warlock that was a lot of fun.
@Amber Lynne: I'm too much of a geezer to have an Instagram. I don't even use Facebook either, hahaha. Social media, what's that? Can you eat it?
@TeaTales: I love D&D too! I haven't listened to Critical Role yet, though I like The Adventure Zone and Thrilling Intent. My last D&D group kind of collapsed due to the former DM pulling some uh... Well. Burned bridges, and all that. Have you tried using Roll20 to find/connect a group? And as for books... I might know a place.

Tea - Could always pop in to talk for a while. It just depends on when we do the sessions. We try to work around schedules.
Fae - Nice! I am currently playing a session right now. We are almost a full part of half-orcs, the oddball out is a Drow.
@dragoness129: Hehehe, that sounds like a great time. Evil party/campaign, or did it just turn out like that? x)
It's a Curse of Strahd campaign, but we aren't all evil alignments. Mine is Lawful Neutral in the Lord's Alliance.
@Faewild: Ooh I loved The Adventure Zone, but didnt like much of the stuff they made after TAZ ended, heard something about them having started up TAZ again...? Thrilling intent Ive not heard of either. The nly time I've played DnD was when I was a teenager, ( far from a teenager now xD ) where I played a halfling thief... at least that is what I remember.... The character early on got lost away from her group when they ha to fight a giant on a brige, The dice wasnt with me as I rolled 1 and 3 for most of that session so she ended up on her own sorta site adventure trough a mountains inner river, out trough a forest until she got to an inn where her former mates were barely even having noticed she had been gone the entire time they hd been away. xD
As I mentioned earlier I have absolutely no experience with Roll20 so no I have not. Ill look at your link when I have checked Storytellers vault and the other sit similiar to it that I keep forgetting the name of ^^;; but mostly IVe been into Vtm/VtR games, but DnD is also interesting.
@dragoness129: I will check the discord out tomorrow as I don't want to sit up all night tonight ( currently 2.26 am, and I have to be at a store at 7-8 am to avoid too much pollen )

Tea - That's fine. ^_^
If nothing else, you can pop in from time to time for gaming or whatnot.
I'm sure we'll figure something out.
@dragoness129: Oh, Curse of Strahd was our previous campaign as well. My warlock got beaten up by an animated broom... x)
@Amber Lynne: Okay, that's fair. I suppose it's just me not having very much interest in learning newer tricks, hahah. I tend to flutter between one or two chats or forums rather than try to focus on everything all at once, otherwise I burn out very quickly.
I do like looking at other people's accounts though. I just don't like maintaining my own, haha! Ultimate laziness.
@TeaTales: I agree, the original TAZ was my favorite. I dropped out awhile so I could listen to a bunch of their campaigns all at once. The newer stuff was interesting, but not my cup of tea in terms of hardcore fandom. Like, I don't even remember the character's names for any of them. But I thought it was good they were trying out new things, and still having fun exploring the medium of D&D Podcast.
Thrilling Intent is on youtube, it's got visuals to go along with the people playing. It's mostly roleplaying and it's very cute and funny. (That hidden link should give you access to all the books you might need, and in the meantime...) I hope you find a medium that's comfortable for you! Discord is also an option, making channels for D&D groups seems to be pretty popular right now too.
