"Hey, we're family." Vincent smiled.

"And it's the right thing to do." he added.

"For now, let's concentrate on making sure YOU are both all right." he suggested. "ESPECIALLY you, Alexandre." he said to Lex.

"I have snacks and hot water here, and Rocky has some of her 'Golden Serenity' blend for you." he went on.

"If nothing else, it should help you remain calm." he added.

"Okay." Lex responded.

Aimee just sighed.

"I'm not sure what is going to happen, but I'm quite certain you guys will meet again in this life." She said. "Just.. try to relax, at least a little bit."

She was sitting in the cafeteria, not knowing what it was that was going to come next. She didn't even know why she was feeling quite as she was, either.

What she did know, was that this was uncomfortable for her, but also that she needed to find release. In whatever way was possible.

It was taking all she had, to not have her mana reach out and grab everyone and everything in this b uilding. But she didn't know how long she could keep that on lock down, as it seemed to be, possibly, gaining strength.

As she casually looked towards the entrance of the cafeteria, she saw people coming and going... until ONE individual stood out for her.

Intensely.

She noticed that he was taller than the others... he was more handsome than the others... his build stood out among the rest, his clothing seemingly outlining and hugging each muscle he had.

There was an issue, though.

It was Zeke.

But he seemed to radiate virility and fertility right now.

And he was ringing EVERY bell in her body.

She was silent, watching him intently as he walked through the room. As he passed her, she had almost not control. Her mana reached out, wrapping around his through, his hips, his head, for a second. She knew he wouldn't notice it. No one ever did. It was something that cound't be rightly noticed, either.

The feeling was easy enough to well, feel, but the source was something that may not be so easily identified.

She just sat there, and waited to see what would happen.

A few seconds after he passed her, Zeke paused.

He stood there for a moment, silent, but started to pull at the collar of his shirt.

He was suddenly feeling... hot.

In more ways than one, if he was being honest with himself.

".....uh..." he stammered.

"Hm." he mumbled further, before looking around, seeing the woman in question.

"Oh, uh... hey Roxie." he greeted her.

"How... how are ya?" he asked.

"Hey Zeke." Roxie greeted with a wave,, her tone of voice a lot more... alluring... than she had intended.

"I... admit. I .. hadn't expected you to be here. Aren't you working to help keep your uncle from freaking out, and helping your dad to find her?" She asked, ehr voice curious. There was definitely something to her tone though, one that most people would just shrugg off, or posisbly question the reason behind.

"What brings you around here?" She then asked, some hesitation to her vocie, for reasons no one could identify, expect maybe her. And those that realised what was going on.

Zeke just chuckled sheepishly.

"I am." he said.

"But I still have things I need to stop by here and get done." he told her.

"Relay info to Agent Sharp and such." he went on.

"I also visited the med wing to get something checked out." he then said further.

"Stopped by here to get lunch for myself and Angela."

"Get something checked out?" Roxie asked.

"Oh? what's going on?" She added after a second or two, concern in her voice.

"And... you know you need distractions, and to take a break. Working yourself into the ground is not going to help find your aunt." She added as she laned forward on the table, her elbows and arms resting on the surface and just below her breasts. Her positioning wasn't anything super unusual, but it did give anyoen there a good show of her cleavage.

"....." Zeke was silent for a moment, and sighed.

"Oh, just... bit of a bruise on my chest." he said.

"...actually, more around the ribcage area..." he admitted.

"I ran afoul of a Crusher-Bear while looking for info about my Aunt..." he then fully admitted, the animal in question having enough muscle to turn a human's bones to dust with only one charge, as it loved to do to its prey. The fact that he survived at all was a testament to how tough it was, let alone escaping with just a bruise.

"...and... yeah, you have a point." he then sighed, finding himself looking at her cleavage every so often.

....and liking what he was seeing.

"Oh... that's most certianly fun." Roxie commented as she got to her feet and approached him. There was only two inches difference for their height, but it was enough that he had to look down slightly.

And found his gaze going lower than her face, quite often.

She didn't seem to notice, or care, as well.

"How about I treat you to a better lunch than you can get here." She suggested.

"I..." Zeke stammered.

"Uh..." he mumbled further, starting to sweat a little.

He swallowed hard, before forcing a smile.

"Uh... s-sure." he managed to get out. "I admit, your... your offer is intriguing..." he said to her.

"But... I... I should... probably tell Angela that I'll be leaving briefly." he then reasoned.

"You know, just so she doesn't worry or anything." he added, trying his best not to continue to take glances at what was below Roxie's face.

Roxie just chuckled as she stepped closer, reaching into his pocket without him properly noticing at the moment as she was pressed up against him, pretty well for this.

She stepped back a couple seconds later, his phone in her hand.

"What's your passcode?" She asked, looking to him him curiously.

She wanted in his phone for one reason or another.

"......" Zeke was silent for a moment, before shaking his head.

"Ah, right." he said.

"5711." he told her.

"...wait..." he then mumbled, checking his pockets.

"My phone." he said.

"When did you...?" he muttered, scratching his head a little.

He was clearly a bit confused as to when she got it... but that was likely because he was distracted by... things...

Roxie just smiled.

"Never you mind." She said simply as she put waht he said in, and navigated to his texting app. She gave a few previous ones a read over to make sure she could copy his style, before sending a quick text.

Hey Angela. Sometime came up. Roxie's asked for my help, sounds maybe not extremely serious, but something that I should help her with sooner rather than later. I'll be back as soon as I can be. Love you.. Once she sent it, she locked the ohone again, but this time stuck it in her cleavage.

"Now, lunch?" She asked with a soft, alluring and inviting smile.

"S-sure." he said.

"Lunch works." he told her.

"Let's... let's go." he finished.

With that, the two of them left, with a few people watching them go, curiously.

But nothing was thought about it, and life went on.

About thirty-six hours, or a day and a half, later, Angela sighed as she made her way up to her bosses office. She was told to wait, to which she took a seat and waited. She wasn't waiting too horribly long though, before the one that had been speaking with the man left, and she was beckoned to enter shortly thereafter.

"Hey." She said simply as she approached and took the profferred seat.

"Do you know where Zeke is? He's not answering his phone or texts."

Hal raised an eyebrow.

"Zeke?" he asked.

"No, I don't." he said.

"He's not answering his phone or texts?" he then asked. "That's concerning..." he mumbled.

"....hm. I'd say perhaps he's following a lead on his aunt's disappearance, but... that doesn't explain his silence." he went on.

"Very strange, indeed." he continued.

"But I'm sorry, I don't know where he is, and I've not heard from him." he apologised.

"I..." She started.

"I'm not surprised." She added. "I had hoped though." She added.

". . . May I?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Of course." he responded.

"If something's happened to him, you deserve to know." he told her.

"Again, just be warned that a sudden rush of knowledge can cause a headache." he then warned her. "...however, given that this'll probably be a small bit of info, the worst will probably be a pang in the temple for a second." he added.

"Regardless, I'm ready when you are." he told her.

Angela nodded in response, sitting down in one of the chairs.

"I wish to know where Zeke is, and if he is safe." she said, clearly and concisely.

Hal responded to this, by snapping his fingers.

"... The worst part, is I got a 'maybe' for safety." She admitted.
