Hollie just laughed lightly.

"I'm not entirely sure." She admitted before thinking about it. He then heard her snap her fingers a few seconds later.

"Ah! I know exactly what I wish to have." She said, without thinking.

"I could really go for some Japanese, and I don't mean just sushi. I haven't had any good udon in ... I think about a year and a half by this point."

"All right." Hal responded.

"I know of a few places where we can get some proper authentic Japanese cuisine." he told her.

"Not a problem at all." he assured her.

He was then silent for a moment, before sighing quietly.

"Yes, I realise I sound a bit... too eager, maybe." he then admitted.

"Some of my agents are... not acting themselves. Or maybe acting TOO themselves?" he mumbled.

"I'm not sure how to put it..."

"Do we need to get the Triad involved?" She asked after a moment or two, knowing that most of those that were under his employ weren't human, at all.

"If so, just say so. " She added.

"But... let me know what's going on when we meet up, hey?"

"Ah... hm." Hal mumbled.

"To be honest... I'm not sure." he admitted.

"And by that, I mean that one of the incidents DOES involve one under the Triad's jurisdiction, but... we're not sure if they're acting of their own accord, or if they're even in their right mind." he explained.

"It's too early to think about legal actions, is what I'm saying." he told her.

"I'll explain further in person."

"Only one?" She asked. "Fair enough." She added before chuckling lightly.

"Let me know time and place once you have that set up. For now, we should both probably get back to what we need to do." She added.

Hal was silent for a moment, and smiled slightly.

"I will." he said.

"Love you, too." he responded, before they ended the call.

He then relaxed in his chair, and nodded to himself.

He felt better.

About 10 minutes later, Ash showed up at Security with an unconscious man being dragged behind him.

He was let in, and he told Jake that he knew the way to holding.

He then started to make his way there, smirking a little.

"This should brighten the boss's day." he said, before hearing sounds of a scuffle in a nearby room.

"Eh?" He wondered before shrugging and approaching the doorway to see what was going on, and see if he could help. As he peered in, he was hit with someone being thrown into him.

"Dammit!" She exclaimed before noticing Ash caught her.

"ah, thank you." She said simply, getting to her feet properly and looking back toward the one that had attacked.

"The hell is your problem?" She asked them.

"Nevermind, I will leave you be. Do rest assured I will be telling Boss about this." She promised before turning to Ash. She didn't get a chance to say anything before feeling a blast of fire hit her back, causing her to stumble forward, into Ash again. This time though, he felt... something. It was barely there, and it was gone as quickly as it had come, but there had been something. As she pushed herself off of him, he noticed that where her hand had been, seemed to almost... tingle for an extra second or two.

Ash was confused for a moment as he swore he felt the extra tingle, but then shook his head.

"Ok, seriously." he said.

"The hell's going on!?" he exclaimed.

He looked to the one that had attacked the woman, and formed a black fireball in his hand.

"Try it again, and I'll show you how real a burn can feel." he told them.

"Are you all right?" he asked the woman.

"What's happening here?"

"Someone is just having issues with my being here. That is all." She stated.

"You are not who you say you are, bitch!" The attacker countered.

"Oh, and they are delyusional, of course." She added with a sigh.

"I will be informing the boss. No need to be hasty." Was the last thing she said before aiming to leav the room.

Ash was silent as he heard all this... and then saw the person throw another fireball at her.

He caught it easily, and quashed it in his hand.

"You!" the attacked exclaimed.

"Stay out of this!" he told Ash.

"Wait... it might already be too late!" he then yelled, before Ash just sighed as the woman left the room.

"THANK YOU." he said loudly, slamming the door shut.

"Geez." he muttered.

"You okay?" he asked her.

"That looked like a nasty hit from that fireball." he commented.

'I hurt." She confirmed with a nod.

"But... I should be all right." She added. After a second, she noticed the one that was against the wall by Ash's feet.

". . . ??" he could see the question on her face before she spoke.

"Might I ask what you were doing with this one?"

"Ah!" he exclaimed.

"Right." he said.

"This guy's wanted. Been on your guys' hit-list for a bit." he told her.

"Stumbled upon him during a hunt, so I took the initiative and nabbed him." he went on.

"Bringing him to holding here so you can deal with him proper."

"Been there a few times before." he said.

"And telling the boss-man would be a huge help, actually." he then told her.

"Guy's name is Gustaff Gainsley." he then informed her. "Just so he knows what files and stuff to deal with." he continued.

"Thanks for this." he went on.

"I'll still need to visit him and confirm stuff, but this makes it I have a less stringent 'schedule' to do so." he chuckled.

'Maybe pop by the lab and see Kiah.' he then thought to himself.

She nodded.

"Of course." She said simply.

"I will go and tell him, while you take care of this one ehre." She said. After Ash agreed, she headed off up to the head office, knocking ont he door as she noticed his receptionist was off - probably having her lunch. She didn't know if Hal was in or not, but was reasonably sure he would be.

After a second or two, she heard the one inside beckon her in.

"Ah, hello Erica." he greeted her when she stepped inside.

"What is it?" he asked.

"...." he then paused for a moment, shaking his head.

"Sorry if that was curt, I'm a bit stressed." he apologised.

"What can I help you with?" he rephrased.

"And you look a bit unsteady. Everything okay?" he then asked her.

"He is taking them down to holding." She added.

"All I know is that he attacked me, without provocation." she told him before turning around so he could see her back.

"Apparently, he feels strongly enough about it to attack with his mana, as well."
