People are stupid, so I doubt we've gotten over the worst of the trouble yet. There's still more waves to happen.

Humans are devastatingly stupid, especially American ones. We fucked up with the Spanish Flu, and I'm pretty sure we're going to continue to repeat history.
I mean, look at our school system. It's not surprising we don't learn anything from history XP
I have a conspiracy theory about that. Wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that Americans are intentionally poorly educated to make them easier to control.
A lot of system is set up for factory jobs that don't exist anymore and it most certainly is set up to keep middle class and lower exactly that. Education has always been the barrier to equality and the super rich know that.
