It's not a series I cared for, and I think how popular it got didn't help. Bella's too passive for my liking
I did enjoy The Host tho, so it's not the author herself. Wanda isn't exactly active herself, but she's also got internal conflict going on so that makes up for it to me

I wonder if Edward's PoV version will be as awkward

Huh.
I admit, I'm not a huge fan of the series (the movies are nothing more than good Sat Afternoon timekills) but the books DO have charm. So long as you go into it expecting a book for teens, lol.
But even I'm at least minorly interested.

    I've seen them like once and that was plenty.
    But the books!
    I will read them until I can not read anymore. lol

    I love teen books.
    All the adult ones are boring and lame.
    Like all the weird shit my mom reads...
    There's like NO excitement in them.
    As for a book series about a girl who's not going to let anyone or anything stop her from becoming a vampire?
    That's hardcore, give me fifteen.

    Movies = Bad bad.
    Books = Bad, but still enjoyable. lol

    I prefer Rosalie 'Rapist Killer' Hale.
    Alice is cool and all, but Rosalie is a complete and utter badass.
    I admire and respect her for the wedding dress tidbit when she finally made it to her treacherous ex-fiance on her hit list.

I picked up twilight from the library back when it first came out before the wave of popularity hit it. But I never got around to starting it. XD

Seems like we're one of the few who actually genuinely enjoyed the book series LOL.
I think I still have them somewhere .... wait no! I borrowed them off a friend I think!!

My only issue is I dislike when series of books release a new book YEARS after the series ended. Especially YA as a lot of the original fans of the series have grown up and no longer care for the series, like me. I probably would have LOVED a new book years ago when I still cared.
The Eragon author did the same thing and the new book was (sorry) garbage and added nothing to the story, Ooop.
