    We had a group call with the family today too. (I dozed off lol, for like an hour this is why I can’t sleep at night xD)

    It’s been the first Mother’s Day without my grandmother (rip <3) so they went to the grave site in their masks and did a zoom for us who weren’t there in person.

    Thank you guys! It means a lot. I kind of have slowly started grieving I know it’s gonna be hard. But I feel like I’m steps ahead of my other family I don’t think they have had time yet

It takes time. I didn't really process my grandfather being gone until almost a half a year later.

My grandma passed in February this year but I hadn't seen her in two years due to her having very bad dementia (My dad, her son, didn't want me to see her like that) and I was living in another state. She died when I was overseas so I couldn't even go to her funeral.

    i was very young when my paternal grandfather passed and i didn't really grieve much but hmm
    like i knew he had passed and i even took the phone call from the hospital but ig it didn't process for me
