@xvz: Np! I actually picked it up for anxiety... and now I have a closet full of yarn lol. Carrots aren't hard at all. The hardest part on my pattern is the stem, and I would say it's more tedious than difficult. If you do get invested I would recommend making a Ravelry account. It's a database of knit/crochet patterns (many are free!), yarn reviews, and forums. You can also track projects/yarn stash and leave reviews on patterns

Lilypads. the only greenery i really know how to draw/paint with little problems lol.
Before the BG had trees but i didn't like it so much.
It made it feel...too dark to me.
so bg is very wip now lol.

@MoodyBats: You're welcome ^^ and it depends, I've never drawn a lilypad before lol trees on the other hand, I can draw typical-looking trees or maybe grass as well.
And I see, hmmm... sometimes coming up a nature-related bg can be quite difficult.

since i like how they came out. the painted ones and the giant non-painted one.
I can't paint to save my life. unless it's lily pads and some other greenery.
I'm not going to do the bg until maybe..last. because there is anatomy i need to fix
among other things. like painting more water so it does not look like giant lily pad is hovering lmao

Ah, true. The whole painting water part can be quite troublesome as you need some details (maybe not too much) to make it look convincing. A giant hovering lilypad sounds surreal and lowkey cool tbh haha
