"Need to mod a phone for the sake of an agent here." Lunet answered honestly, knowing not to give too much information.

"And gonna have Dad get me out of school tomorrow." She added with a laugh. It was encroaching on midnight, and she knew she'd be up for a couple hours at least with this.

"I don't have of my ID or whatever with me though. Dad just sent me without either of us thinking of that. So... Want to calm those two down for me? Maybe they'll believe you more than they believe me."

The man pinched the bridge of this nose.

"You two!" he said.

"Y-yes!?" the first one exclaimed.

"Leave her alone." the guard said.

"That's Lunet Sharp. The head honcho's daughter." he went on.

"And it sounds like she's doing some important work." he continued.

"All right?' he asked.

"R-right." the first one replied.

"Got it." the second one chimed in.

"Thanks." She said before getting back to what she had been tasked to do. She didn't know if they would actually leave her be, or be paranoid and opt to continue harassing her. She was reasonably sure she wouldn't be annoyed any longer though.

"Hey. Who usually uses this system?" She asked after a couple minutes as she turned to face the others again.

"or... Either of you know where Chloe is?"

The second one was the one to answer.

"To answer your first question, any of the senior techs." he told her.

"As for where Chloe it, she's in the server room." he then said.

"She makes sure everything's in working order every night." he went on.

"Normally we make sure that nobody bothers her or interferes, but... well, even WE know that YOU'RE the one that's responsible for Chloe's existence." he then reasoned.

"I'm sure you know where the server room is." he added, tossing her a card key to get into the room.

Lunet caught the key before getting to her feet.

"I not gonna harass the senior techs. I'll just use Chloe for it all instead. She's a walking computer after all." She added with a laugh as she locked the computer and shoved the phones and cords into her pockets.

"Thanks. If I don't return by the time you leave, come find me with Chloe. I'll return the keycard."

"Got it." he said as she left.

"...she's really the boss's daughter?" the first asked.

"Seems so." his coworker responded.

"...am I gonna get in trouble?" the first one asked, now nervous.

"Highly doubt it." the first replied.

"Now we need to get to work." he finished, before they did just that.

Sure enough, by the time that Hal was up again, Lunet still wasn't home. He ended up sending a text to her, saying to meet him in his office when she got a chance.

A few hours later, when he was leaving to grab some lunch, he was stopped by the teal haired teen coming down the hall.

"yo." was all she said with a wave as she approached.

".......... Right. Apparently I need food." She commented with a light laugh.

"noon... You heading for lunch? If so, want company?"

"And yes, I was just heading out for lunch." he confirmed.

"Also, company? Sure." he told her further, answering her questions.

"Come on." he said.

"I was going to head to that burger joint about 10 minutes from here." he continued.

"That work for you, or you want something else?" he asked.

"I'll let you make the call, seeing as you've been working so hard on this time-sensitive project." he reasoned.

"Also, yes. I did manage to do waht you asked me to." She added. "Ran into a bit of a snag when I arrived here though."

"Yeah. The two that were working in tech last night. One... a particularly jumpy sort, was kind of starting to have a conniption regardin the fac ttha tI was using a compluter... and didn't have any of my ID on me." Lunet commented with a light sigh.

"All was fixed and solved, but ... it was a bit of a snag." She added.

"Also, yes, I have her phone on me. I'll give it to ya when we get to the joint." She added. "And... I'm shockingly hungry by this point. Didn't realise time had been actually... y'know... moving."

"You DO tend to get that way." he admitted.

"Also, sorry about no ID. That slipped my mind." he then apologised.

"And I didn't think that anyone that would be working that late wouldn't recognise you." he then said further.

"Regardless, apologies for the inconveniences. But thank you." he went on.

"The modifications will prove to be invaluable."

"No worries. I didn't think of it until they made it apparent that I should have, anyway." Lunet commented. "So we're both at fault for that one."

"I'm just lucky that the security that showed up knew me." She added. "It'w as David, if that matters."

"Regardless, I think he saved my bacon." She admitted. "Not so sure that they would have let me do anything, other than get one hell of a headache, otherwise."

Lunet just motioned down the road, to the burger joint they were approaching.

"Inside. I'd rather not risk dropping it." She tol d him hoenstly.

"Now, there are a few caveats for the mods." She then started as they walked.

"Her phone service is completely free now, actually. She doesn't even need a SiM card. Thanks to Chloe and some of what I've learned from Leo, it's pretty easy to use a dead SiM to have the mobile access and not registered anywhere."

"...and really. Well, that is certainly handy." he commented. "To massively understate it." he went on.

"That will REALLY help." he said further.

"Right now Agent Culverton is doing a very sensitive undercover mission, so that will be a boon to her." he went on.

"Once you're done explaining it to me, I'll inform Azazel of it all, and have him tell Agent Culverton all of it as well, before sending it back to her." he continued.

"Yes, this is so sensitive, they're using their demonic channels for communication."

"And I have a memo on the phone with the informaiton for her." She added. "Just in case she wants to reference it again later."

"Along with my number in there, for if there are any tech issues that she needs help with." She added.

"Regardless, I can outline it for you, definitely."
