". .. that... is quite alarming." She agreed.

"He's protected from above or below." She then said. "I don't... really want to consider the possibilities for that, either."

"Anyway. To answer your question.... He's going to kill me." She told him honestly.

"Basically ... the mana around the estate is... well, I think it'd be better to show you than to explain." She added before sighing and turning her back to him.

"This opens in the back, would you mind?" She asked.

"....." Hal was silent for a moment.

"....sure." he replied.

He then got up from his chair and made his way towards her, stopping when he was close enough.

He paused for a moment, steeling his nerves and taking a small breath.

'All right, Hal.' he thought. 'You have no idea what's coming, but you've seen a lot in your life. Nothing should surprise you.' he told himself mentally, exhaling the breath he took.

He then undid the back, and opened it up.

When Hal opened the top, Roxie just sighed.

"See why I said that it was easier to show?" She asked as he just stared.

Wha the was looking at really wasn't skin. It had the right colour and the like, but ... it really didn't have the texture exactly. It looked more like a type of plastic that was made to mimic skin.

"I... always thought it was just for protections sakes." She then added as she was done up again and turned to face him.

". . . I don't know why he's doing this, but... I doubt it's accidental. It has to be intentional."

Roxie's reaction was instant, it was unusually and unexpectedly visceral.

"I know I can grab you, if you dare to remove me, you'll find yourself in far more trouble with Remmington than you can properly accommodate." She promise, her voice dark, and having an ethereal echo. A demonic one, at that. Her eyes seemed to darken, and change to a blood red.

This was most definitely a side of her he hadn't seen thus far.

Roxie didn't say anything before meeting his gaze, her threat hanging in the air for the moment.

"I wish you would slow the spread down." She started simply.

"Cut it by about half if can. If not, 25% would make a difference too." She addfed.

"The problem, I don't know the speed or anything. "

Hal thought about it for a moment.

"...I think I can do that." he said.

He then paused, and sighed.

He snapped his fingers, and she felt something... overcome her. She felt better, but still not quite right.

"I slowed it... well, as much as I could." he said.

"The mana is powerful. VERY powerful." he told her.

"I think I managed to reduce the speed by 33% or so." he finished.

Roxie sighed, lightly.

"Well, that's something, at least." She commented.

"Anyhow, I really should head back." She then said.

"If you need me, you know where to find me." was all she said before vanishing from where she was, appearing back in her room through the portal through Hell.

She noticed that no sensors went off, which was on hell of a relief, before she made her way to the desk with the laptop.

". . . wonder if I was wanted while gone." she muttered, knowing she couldn't find that at the laptop.

Just as she said that, she heard a knock on the door that connected her room to the Master's room, and he stepped through it, dressed only in his pyjama pants.

"Roxie." he said.

"It seems I have developed a kink in my back." he told her.

"And it is making it VERY difficult to sleep." he continued.

"Do something about it, won't you?" he went on, before turning around and heading back into his room, the implication being that she would follow him immediately to perform the task.

"Shouldn't be a problem for you." he added.

"Of course." She said kindly before getting to her feet and following him.

"And problem? Please. A kink is nothing. It'll be gone and you'll be sleeping like a baby within ten minutes." She promised.

Roxie nodded before stepping up to him.

"Do you mind?" She asked.

"Do as you need to." Was all he said. She took that and straddled him over his ass, knowing that it was the best way to access and do what she needed to, where she needed to.

As she was there, doing as she was told to, she didn't notice the faint black handprints she left, that faded super quick.

"....hm." he mumbled.

"Yes, this is good." he said.

Roxie just chuckled lightly as he said, and stressed, what he did.

"I'm good to keep around." She commented.

"What can I say, I tend to have that effect on men." She added before pausing.

She knew it was true, but also that it was usually something forced out of them. That couldn't be the thing here, could it? She wasn't actively using her mana or seduction.

"And I rather enjoy your company too." She added. "You're a sweetheart and one who would make someone quite happy, I think."

"Really." She commented.

"I'm really not sure what it is that I should make of that." She admitted,continuing to work on his back.

"please, don't let me sway you for that." She added, smirking slightly.

"I'd rather let you come to that conclusion, whatever it may be, yourself."
