".... wondering how long until Boss shows up." Roxie then muttered as she ... slowly... made her way to somewhere to sit, and did so. It wasn't easy, adn she felt like she was breaking bones or something when she did so, but she hadn't wanted to stay standing. She could move, but it was not easy, not at all.

"......." Azazel was silent for a moment, before looking around. Seeing nothing offhand, he took off his jacket and draped it over Roxie, so her chest and lower region were both covered.

"Odds are not long at all." he told her.

"And that looked painful." he then said.

"Moving, that is." he clarified.

"Wonder if that'll ever go away..."

"you wonder if moving will ever go away? I hope not. I rather like moving and being able to." She commented with a chuckle.

"Also, lilim said it would. Would just take a few days."

"Wonder if it'll be Angela or Sharp that show up first..." he mused, before the latter came into view.

"...that answers THAT." he muttered, as they were approached.

"Agent Culverton, are you all right?" Hal asked Roxie.

Roxie, normally, would have had some super sacastic remark to Hal about how she was just peachy keen, but... didn't this time. That wasn't anything too surprising though.

"Eh. I'll survive." She answered honestly.

"I'm actually more worried about Tan." She added, motioning to the bed that Tannyll had been put on.

Hal looked over to the one in question.

"What happened to him?" he asked.

"He experienced the full effect of 'Hell on Earth'." Azazel replied. "Literally." he added.

"...what can we do for him?" Hal then inquired.

"Over the next few days, I'll need to gradually remove the residual influence from his body and mind." Azazel said. "Might need to get Lilim to help if there's any stubborn remnants there." he added.

"So he'll be fine?" Hal asked.

"Should be." Azazel confirmed.

"Plus the bit of abuse he took." She added. "I didn't see it all, but for all I know, he could have a concussion or something."

"Hmmmm, I see." he mumbled.

"And boss?" Azazel addressed him. "You're gonna wanna take a team and raid the Lockwood mansion. ASAP." he told him.

"I'll assemble one right now." Hal responded.

"There anything we can do for you right now?" he asked Roxie.

"Clear out ... the countless women in the basement." She added. "And no... they won't be doing well."

"I think he tells all his victims a similar spiel.' She added.

"Meaning the last thing that Ingrid would have known, would be that he had intentionally gone and ... well, hired her specifically to add her."

A heavy silence hung in the air for a moment, after Roxie said that.

"Indeed." Hal replied.

"I'm sorry for your loss." he told her.

"..." Azazel was quiet for a moment, thinking about it.

"Do the women he collected... die?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" Hal inquired.

"What of their souls? Have they moved on, or are they stuck in their bodies like a prison?" Azazel elaborated. "And if the latter, can we at least free them so that they may be able to move on and find peace?"

"What I do know, is that everything felt ...feels, still, numb." She said.

"I can't speak regarding a soul, as being a demon, I tehchinically don't have one." She continued. "But... I do know that if there're souls trapped... they don't probably even notice."

"if there is a way to free them though, that'd... be far better."

"And one from YOU whenever you're properly on your feet again." he said to Roxie.

With that, he turned and left, as Azazel just sighed.

"Well, this was... eventful." he muttered.

Roxie nodded before Hal left. After he was gone, and Az said what he did, she just sighed.

"To say the least." she agreed with a nod.

"I'm not sure... how long I'm going to be such a state." She added.

". . . I'm going to miss her. But at least I know what happened."

Azazel bit his lip a little when she finished saying that.

"....yeah..." he said.

"At least there's that, I suppose..." he agreed.

"...sorry, Roxie." he then said.

"That this happened... that you went through this... that your friend went through it, and you both lost each other..." he went on.

"But if her soul can be freed, then there's a chance you can see her again, right?" he then asked, trying to cheer her up, even if slightly.

"Ingrid was one of the ladies that I actually thought I'd had a chance for something more real than a one night stand with, if I'm being honest." She added.

"One of the few who knew what the fuck I am."

"Oh well. And no, I'm not super depressed or anything, I'm more pissed. Just... go figure." She paused. "I will miss her, but at least the fucker is playing with Lilith now."

In the brief moment he'd touched his head to calm him down back at the mansion, he'd seen his soul.

And he saw how he felt about Roxie.

"...well, fate's weird." he said.

"Maybe someone else can help show you she wasn't the only one." he went on, looking back at Roxie.

"Still... I'm glad you're okay." he told her with a small smile.
