@GuttedBunny: besides remembering dreams are not real, I remember that no one knows what I dream of. So if it was a dream about a coworker where very weird things were done, there is no reason to feel awkward around them. They don't know you dreamed about them being contortionists and then turning into a duck with human teeth. They just don't!
Same with dream where people pass away, or anything else bad happens. No one knows, and you don't have to share.
Some people claim that dreams represent things. Maybe they are warnings for the future, or they are pointing something out. For me, dreams are just my brain working things out in a bizzar fashion.
Examples:
When I was small, maybe 4-6 years old, I had a terrible reoccurring dream. It had been around for some time before 4, but got more constant around that age. It was simple, I was in pitch blackness surrounded by angry voices. Sounded like giants elephants arguing! Some voices were quieter than other, but all were super angry. In the dream, I tried getting away from those voices by climbing these unseen poles/trees. But nothing worked, the voices followed.
It was scary for a kid!
What I found out later (around 8 years old) is that when those dreams came around, my dad came around. He would yell and argue with my mom and sometimes siblings. Sometimes it was my mom arguing with the siblings about dad. Those were also the years that my mom had to move out of our house. To go to a "woman's only house." I don't remember the details.
For me, those dreams were a way for my kid brain to work through what was going on. I didn't see these issues in my day to day life, consciously. The family not being a unit and all the abuse. But subconsciously, my brains noticed everything and couldn't process. Hence why I consciously thought everything was ok.
If you are having very stressful dreams, which occur frequently, then it might be time to ask yourself what's up. Is there something in your life that might need a bit more attention?
Otherwise, relax, enjoy your spastic brains cookie ideas.

@Pirate: I mean all that is true about dreams but still. It’s strange to me how new and bizzare they are :/

it was a mix between a lucid dream and my sleep paralysis.
