"Somewhat." Darrell replied.

"And a friend of HIS as well." he continued.

"She does more software stuff, while HE does hardware." he went on.

"But yeah, getting help from those two." he confirmed.

"Thanks to that, I'm at the top of my class." he chuckled.

"Mom and Dad pushing you to decide what to do with your life, by the way?" he asked her.

Darrell just sighed as well.

"...feel free to come hang out at my place if you need to get away." he told her.

"I mean, I'll give you something that will allow you to mana there." he continued.

"Also, I'm surprised no mana has shown up for you." he then said.

"One would think you'd get SOMETHING from one of them, at least." he went on, before pausing.

"...other than... the eye." he muttered.

Darrell just bit his lip slightly as the place they were going to eat at came into view.

"That... yeah, that does suck." he said.

"I... there's not much else I can say about that." he sighed.

"I'm sorry." he apologised.

"I really wish I could be a bigger help." he finished, slumping a little.

It was clear that this did bother him a bit. His sister was conflicted and feeling out of place, and there was nothing he could do for her.

Darrell just laughed.

"Let's." he said.

In the end, they decided to just grab an XL family combo meal, and take it back to his place. Which they did.

They appeared in a specially taped off place in one of their larger closets, and he opened the door, stepping out of it.

"Yo! Sebastien!" he called out.

"We're back!" he said.

"In the den!" a male voice called back, a distinct French accent to his tone.

"She does." he replied.

"She lives her in addition to Sebastien." he told her.

"Like I said before, she's out for a thing she's doing." he went on.

"It's a 3-bedroom, but 2 is all we need." he added with a smirk.

"Anyway, go and meet him." he suggested.

"He's a cool guy."

The man was silent for a moment, before looking over towards her.

When he did, she noticed he had gorgeous long black hair, and piercing red eyes.

He smiled at her, his teeth almost a perfect white, and stood up, standing at a 6 feet tall.

"Bonjour." he greeted her.

"I am Sebastien." he introduced himself.

"Sbastien LeBlanc." he finished, taking her hand and gently kissing the back of it.

The man just laughed.

"I never am." he replied.

"On the other hand, I'm not like most people." he told her.

"I am... human, but at the same time, not." he said further.

"Techinically, by old-world rules, I am a sin against nature itself." he then added.

"But I'm sure that's far too heavy of a topic for a first meeting."

"...." he was silent, before looking at her.

"Ah." he said.

"Yes, I can tell." he commented.

"Or... well, you're good at concealing it, I should say." he then clarified.

"But still. It's very nice to meet you." he told her.

"Darrell's spoken quite well of you."

"The context is how cool of a sister you are, mostly." Sebastien replied.

"And perhaps you've met my father or my aunt." he went on.

"My father is Alexandre LeBlanc." he continued.

"Meaning my aunt is Aimee LeBlanc." he said further.

"So yes, I AM half-demon." he confirmed.

Sebastien just sighed when she said the last part.

"That's just... her first impression." he said.

"She's..." he went on, before sighing again.

"Okay, she IS a bit freaky, I admit." he went on.

"But given who she is and what she's been through, she DOES have reason to be." he continued.

"Yo! Food's unpacked!" Jordan then heard Darrell call to her.
