When she stepped into the kitchen, she saw all the food had been unpacked. The biscuits, the chicken, the fries, everything.

"So." he said.

"Whatcha thing of Bast?" he asked her.

"That's... what I call him privately. He doesn't like to be referred to as such."

"Lilim's kid, though? I didn't even know she HAD a kid." She added. "The few times I've met her, it's never come up - although I suppose that makes sense. Considering who and what she is."

"Smells bad at first, but you get used to it." he told her.

"But yeah, he's pretty laid back and chill." he went on.

"Takes things at a super-relaxed pace and likes the simpler things in life." he continued.

"Says it's his father's influence." he chuckled.

"I don't judge." he said.

"Anyway, plate up." he told her.

"We'll eat here in the kitchen." he said further.

"I've talked to him about it, and he's cool with you staying here for however long, of course." he went on.

"Just be warned." he then said.

"He'll tie up the bathroom for an hour or so in the morning. Like Dad does."

"Oh, and if you finish something off... anything... replace it." he finished.

"Beyond that, it's pretty lax here." he shrugged.

"Good to know." She stated simply.

"I can make it a point to do that, if not just mention that something was finished so that you or he can replace it. AS... I don't h ave much money myself." She added.

"Plus, I don't expect to be here for too long, anyway. Couple weeks, maybe? I dunno. I gotta get back home for school and all."

"...unless it's over 5 bucks." he then muttered.

"Or... there was only a little bit left, anyway..." he then said further.

"Regardless, I'll cover for you in most cases." he assured her.

"And that's for things like condiments and milk and stuff." he continued.

"Anything with a small round green sticker on it is mine, feel free to take whatever you want of that." he told her. "Something with a red round sticker on it is HIS." he then explained.

"Try not to eat any of those." he laughed.

"But communal stuff like spices and condiments and all that are always fair game."

"You really should have given me a heads up about that before I came out, Darrell." Jordan said with a light sigh.

"I would have made sure I had the money to make sure I could cover any of that." She added.

She was silent as she sat on the couch, watching a movie. It was a bit of a 'down day', in the sense of how her brother had some stuff to do, Sammy wasn't home as she'd gone back home to bother her brother, and Sebastien had just left a few minutes ago. They'd had a rather interesting conversation, and she was seriously considering coming outright and telling him about her eye. She was sure that he had an idea, but it hadn't been said as it stood.

"I already said I'd cover for you." he went on, before shaking his head.

"THIS is why I can't follow in Mom and Dad's footsteps." he then muttered.

"I can't even tell a JOKE properly." he sighed.

After about 10 minutes, she saw her brother show up, looking for something to drink.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"Where's Bast?" he asked.

"I got something he wanted, wanna give it to him." he continued, making his way to the fridge.

"Also, what's on the tube!?" he called to her further.

"as for what's on, Coraline." She added.

"Nothing too great and wonderful, but I love stop motion animation. It's an underappreciated method of animating things."

"And I mean the vampire charm." he clarified.

"Whether I like him or not doesn't matter anyway. He's an adult. I'm still a minor. I don't care if you'd throw the whole 'not human' bullshit at me for it. We live in the mortal world, and it would NOT go over well." She stated.

"But... whatever. Something tells me you won't believe me not matter what I say." She continued before pausing.

"So I'm just going to go dick around on my laptop. I'll talk to you later."

"The hell does all this mean...?" he asked himself.

Jordan made her way into the room that she was using and just sat on her bed, annoyed.

"Thanks for reminding me I have no mana." She muttered with a sigh before grabbing her laptop and checking the time.

"Whatever." Followed as she scooted back on the bed, leaning against the wall, her laptop on her lap as she started to browse the net.

"Not sure." Sebastien replied.

"Just feel a little weird." he said.

"That's a bit concerning." Darrell responded.

"I'm sure it's nothing." was the response that was given.

Shortly after he'd come home, Jordan made her way to the kitchen, noticing that one of the two men were looking a bit rough around the edges. She doubled back to the den, where they were sitting, and looked Sebastien from head to toe.

"You go get drunk or something?"
