@godsandpunks: hmm i would probably put it in general discussion! that seems like the most appropriate forum that comes to mind

if you want it to be more of a regular thing for posting updates though, while still open to regular chatting, you could possibly make a hangout for it

Hello, and welcome to voltra, by the way.

After some discussion with other staff members, it's been decided that such a topic would probably best fit in Hangouts, given how very specific the hobby you are speaking about it.

That's not to say it cannot go in a place such as General Chit-Chat, but it's probably best suited to Hangouts.
