I sort out the border pieces first into a pile in one of the corners and toss the other pieces to the outside. Then I quick make the border and since the puzzles are smaller and the pieces are a bit bigger it is easier to kinda figure out what goes where~ Also if a piece is in the general area of where it should go, it usually gets yoinked into place so that is always helpful lol
