I've colored my hair after bleaching it. Once the color kinda fades out I just rebleach it, to get rid of roots and it goes back to 'bleached' color. Except for like..one time I dyed it pink, no matter how many times I've colored and bleach it, there is this one part of my hair that just *always* stays pink lol. Last color I did was purple. I also did it half green half purple, and I did Purple on the top and pink unders. I do it myself and get SPLAT hair color from the store. Cus I am cheap.

I have a Sally's nearby my house, but I haven't been going to any unnescesary stores if I don't have to since this COVID stuff. I go to Walmart every week so that's why I just get it there. And the boxes there are about $9 per box. They come with the bleach and the color in the box so I grab one and bleach it one day wait until the following day and color it. But since the lock down I've not gotten my hair cut, which I usually do before I color it so I don't need more then one box. I have pretty thick hair and when it gets too long, one box wouldn't bleach all of it.

I would like a better bleach that didn't ruin my hair and that it didn't have a yellow tint. Would make the dye jobs I do, come out a lot better. I also have an issue with darker colors. Since I do it myself in the bathroom, I end up having a bit of a time doing it. Especially the time I went half green half purple. I had to split my hair and do both sides with different colors and try not to get them mixed up while they were dying. Also rinsing out is a hassle too, since I usually do it in the kitchen sink, since I don't want to ruin the shower or tub in the bathroom with the dye.

My mentality with the possibility of "ruining" our bathroom with dye is just "hey people take dumps in here it doesn't matter too much it's not a body fluid"

My mom is super picky about her bathroom. I have to lay down a lot of towels over the floor and sink to make sure any drops don't stain her floor or sink. If I rinsed it out in the tub, it'd stain the pure white tub and she'd get piiiised lol. At least the kitchen sink is like stainless steel and old so no problem rinsing there.
