but I just see packets full of peeled garlic at the store near me
to be fair I haven't gone to a BIG supermarket in a long time. maybe they have regular garlic there

ahhh I didn't know it was easy to make
I feel like I've been to a lot of restaurants where the hot and sour soup is... mediocre... ADLKFJ but maybe that's just bc I have like a specific preference for ratio of hot to sour

it's not bad! just slice up the vegetables into the strips (or chunk them if you don't care about ~presentation~ lol)
the only part I messed up the first time was adding the starch to make it gloopy xD
it just needs the vinegar, white pepper, soy sauce (maybe just for color, I think that's what the original recipe said lol), and sesame oillll
good thing is if you make your own you can adjust that hot/sour ratio haha
