i didn't really like scrambled eggs until i learned the soft scramble !!! i think it's the scramble equivalent of a runny egg lol

do u like olives or pickles? i group these together w capers in my head .... i never quite acquired the taste for them though

i can do lightly picked foods but maybe not heavy pickled ?
i light/quick pickle cucumbers and carrots :3 and onions this year too

i like the radish kind too !! i did kimchi + egg over rice for lunch a lot earlier this year until i got tired of it lol

ah cuz of the fermentation stuff?? yeah i feel ... i kind of see it as similar to pickling tho! is briney pickling fermentation ...? i'm not sure
the kimchi thing i thought it could be a fun ~ home project ~ cuz a lot of this year i had v little to do lol

Pickling and fermenting are both historically used to preserve foods! Pickling involves a vinegar brine, while fermenting involves salt or a salt brine - both are good for you, though I think fermenting is more good for you??

Pickling/fermenting are only dangerous if it's gone bad - though fermentation of garlic is sketchy since that can give you botulism!

Brine is the liquid of fermentation/pickling! Pickling uses vinegar, fermentation uses salt (either by itself, or dissolved in water)
I blame the Bon Appetit series "It's Alive with Brad Leone" for my knowledge of this stuff lol

Also botulism only happens with like, garlic and..oil?? I think?? otherwise, pickles are good for you :3

I tried my hand at pickling peppers - and that is the time I learned that chili hands are no joke.
See, I wanted to try the pepper brine.. So I dipped my ungloved finger in it...

The brine was so wild that it hurt to smell it. I don't think fermenting JUST chili peppers was the greatest idea..
