We keep having the late 80's to mid 90's heat.
Which to some isn't bad, however, it's preventing me from doing any artwork
and artwork is sort of how I am trying to keep my family afloat as my dad is unemployed.
So everything right now depends on me.
So heat making me more stressed as it's never cool enough for me to work.

Also we do not have A/C which kind of makes it worse.
i just need to get some art done. :vanora_cry:
i hope summer will end really soon.

Also please do not give me advice on things to do to keep cool, we've literally tried everything. :vanora_sweat:

@moodybats: hey there :) i feel you on that.. i hate summer heat.. it makes me so tired and sometimes dizzy.. we're not used to it but its getting hotter every year :/ when does it start cooling down there ?

@LilMissKushy: No idea. we still have many late 80's and mid 90's days.
my weather app doesn't tell me anything on next week yet.
but there is little to no rain storms.

So I'm gonna feel like death for at least...another week.
I'm hoping next week it will disperse a little.

though usually when it rains it goes straight back to being hot.

though it doesn't help I'm having severe back pain today
so I'm kinda in agony today lol.

Winter very much is torture on my body.
i think I'm more for fall but fall is so short.
winter honestly makes me feel like I'm dying/i get really sick in the winter lol
but since I've slowly been earning money maybe I'll just buy some new sweaters lol.
I did find this cute duvet bed set that has strawberries on it lol.

I'm not much for it as i can't really eat sweets. :vanora_sweat:

@Bioshock: Yeah same.
Even when the sun does go down, the heat stays.

It also does not help that we're dealing with 3 different fires so we can't keep
the windows opened as everyone in my family is pretty much allergic to smoke[doesn't matter what kind either
all smoke kind of bothers us].

and we normally put fans in the window at night to cool it down so we've been unable to do that.
Hoping the weather gets better for you too.
today it's supposed to be 92...and feel like 97.

When all else fails, do a rain dance.

The frequent thunderstorms and rain lately have been the only thing saving me. I have to go outside at work to clean/collect carts in this heat, while listening to whiny customers pretend they have medical conditions to get out of wearing masks. Y'all are getting to walk around at a leisurely pace in an air-conditioned store in your shorts and tank tops. I do NOT wanna hear about how a mask would make it hard for you to breathe while I'm standing there panting in the muggy heat in long pants and layered clothes for hours at a time. >:^(

@Count Trashula: sometimes when it rains it goes directly back to 90 degree heat.
So rain helps but not for long unless it does a massive down pour.

so I am suffering lol.

I enjoy both, ha.
Usually I'd be looking forward to working at the haunt I've been at for the last couple of years but like, not sure if that's even gonna be up and running this year. Lot of tight spaces and big crowds, hard to social distance in that.

On the other hand, a friend of mine is back in the city for Halloween. we've made plans to visit a pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins with her little one. Should be fun, i'm definitely looking forward to it. xD

Also yeah, inktober is definitely fun to do! I always kind of run out of fuel by mid October, but I'm hoping to stick it out the whole month this year.
Glad to hear about the art improvements! I've been trying to do the same lol.

@Bou: Normally halloween can be the worst for me.
Esepecially on social media which is where I go to find new artists
but a lot of things are very triggering for me and i can't handle scary halloween stuff
and a lot of things are either not filtered or instagram gives me it no matter if i say not interested.
and that is just very draining.
so I stick with the cutesy side.

I never leave my house to go out so im pretty much doing the same i do every year lol.

That sounds fun.
I've never had the fuel to do inktober in the past as 2020 was kind of my breakthrough with my art.
so im excited to do it.

Oh, ugh. Same here.

My weather is similar-ish to yours. High 80s to Low 90s. I actually do have AC so I can't really imagine what you're going through but I'm with you. I'm ready for summer to end and for fall to just freaking start already.

At least Starbucks is bringing their Pumpkin Spice Lattes back early this year. So I can at least trick my brain into believing it's here.

That's completely understandable. I'm similar, but most horror related things are ok with me, thankfully.
It's when it reaches a certain subject (usually the "dark side" of religion) that it becomes triggering for me. Lot's of awful intrusive thoughts.
But I know it can be a gamble when looking through horror/Halloween stuff. Hopefully you won't have to come across too much of it!

I wish you luck with it! Are you going to use the official inktober prompt list when it gets posted, or are you gonna use a different one?
I like to use prompt lists that are more spooky related, ha ha.

@Bou: i usually don't go through halloween stuff, but it'll just pop up randomly
from the people I am following like it and i am just done with the internet for the week lol.

I'll probably used my own prompt just because I know what I like to draw
and what i struggle to draw.
not sure if i will post it or not. my social medias are usually like a ghost town lol.

It's just so annoying lol.

@Lithinel: Usually it'll be 90 but the real feel is actually a lot higher.
tomorrow is not going to be pleasant. will be 94 but feel like 99.

we have to close the windows if it's too bad like it is today.

and my comp gets easily hot when it's 90 degrees too.
so it's near impossible to do anything but like...sit and do nothing lol.
