"That's good." Nate responded.

"If it makes a difference or not, I overheard some people I know that really loving gaming, and they were talking about that series about a week ago." he then said. "Now, they essentially run one of those websites that reveals early info about games, leaks, rumours, that sort of thing." he informed her.

"And it looks like the 6th game may be their last." he told her.

"If the rumours are true, the game will have some rather hefty and egregious in-game purchases." he went on. "And if their info is right about them, then it means 2 things." he continued.

"1, that they're running out of money and need to try to get their players to pay even MORE, past the initial purchase. And 2, those that are clinging to it may finally just abandon it, or enough that they'll have the declare bankruptcy." he added.

"So it seems like this may be their final hurrah... going out with a pathetic whimper."

"Perfect time for me to work on something that is far more true to form." She added.

"Good. I just gotta start coding. I have a bunch of assets I've been working on over time, but... 3d rendering ain't my forte." She told him with a laugh.

"Ah, that sucks." Nate replied.

"Well... maybe get someone to help?" he offered.

"And have a real contract drawn up and such?" he continued.

"I mean, it's all up to you, obviously, but... well... okay, I know jack all about game development." he then admitted.

"The closest I've come to making a game is one I did in that RPG game-maker program." he chuckled.

"I tossed it onto forums for free."

"I'm not sure I have the funds to properly pay someone for their work." She admitted.

"But... I dunno. I'm looking at my options and seeing if I can find anything, or anyone, to help." She added.

"However, you did something in RPG maker? I'll admit, I'm curious." She said.

"What kinda game was it? And don't just tell me it was an RPG."

"Ah. I see." he replied.

"...must cost a lot then, seeing as you have the funds to support yourself through Uni, AND support me as well." he commented with a very light chuckle, before clearing his throat slightly.

"Ah-heh... yeah. I did." he confirmed.

"And... it... it wasn't anything special." he told her.

"It was a game where the main character was a fallen angel that lost their memory, and the entire storyline was about them regaining their memory, gaining back their abilities and such as they unlocked various memories, and finding out how to atone for whatever it was they did, once they remember, and rise up again." he explained. "Had 3 different endings, too. Good, bad, and neutral." he went on.

"Called it 'Ascent: Picking up the Pieces', if I recall."

"That... if I recall correctly, that's one that received a good amoutn fo criticism for being cheap and not much effort, but the story received a lot of praise." She commented.

"Admittedly, I never played it, but I do remember reading reviews about it and wahtnot. I could never find a copy of it." she added with a laugh.

Nate sighed.

"Yeah." he said.

"I don't have artistic talent, and only the most basic of pixeling skills. It was all I could do to alter a lot of the character models to be sort of what I envisioned them to be. But about 95% of that game was stock assets." he admitted.

"So yeah, the game was slammed for a lack of effort on that." he confirmed.

"But I DID see a lot of good words for the story and dialogue and such." he then went on. "And those came from the people that slammed the visual parts of it. So it was pretty much a unanimous thing." he sighed.

"I don't really care, though. I did it during... well, a time when I had spare time, and put it out onto the internet for free." he then shrugged.

"If you're REALLY curious about it, I have a thumbdrive with... the... file..." he then started to say further, before something seemed to click.

"Wait... hold on." he said. "There's no audio dialogue in the game, so it wouldn't do you much good." he realised.

"And... how could you have read reviews on it? You've told me you were born completely bind."

"I'm just that good." She stated simply.

"But I'll fill you in once we're seated at the restaurant. Wouldn't be good to do out here." She added simply.

"Or... You can just google my name. Lunet Anwen Sharp. You'll probably find it easily." She added, knowing that there were at least a few articles about her and her surgery online.

"As for your question..." She started, pausing to look through the messenger bag she had.

"Ah damn. I don't have anything on my for it..." She muttered before motion for Nate to come over tk her. When he did, she lightly grasped his hand and brought it up behind her ear, where there was some tech built into her head.

"Long story short, I can commented a special camera to see what it sees." She told him before smirking.

"note that AoD was done before the surgery for this."

"It was revolutionising, but sadly hard to copy." She paused.

"AoD was amazing. It was a runaway commercial success, and the only critical negativity it received was from... well, from what I recall, individuals that nobody really respected, anyway." he said further.

"Contrarian because contrarian. Sparked controversy and got those online hits." he muttered.

"...." She just smirked though.

"..... Well then." She started. "Seems I will. However, I'm not brilliant when it comes to stories and the like. I can do overarching stories and worlds, but no so much do things like specific character things, if that makes any sense."

"M-m-me?" he asked.

"You want ME to help with the story and such?" he asked her.

"Wouldn't have asked if I didn't." Lunet replied.

"I'd... I'd be honoured." Nate responded.

"That would be... well, it'd be a dream come true." he told her.

"While my future is in the medical profession... well, at least I hope it to be... it'd be awesome to have helped on a successful video game."
