@dread pirate: hello there :) nice to see you around again..i've just woke up.. what are you up to ?
@Dread Pirate: it’s just the owner. No managers, except maybe me? There are only 3 employees so there aren’t really ranks, but I’ve been here like 11 or 12 years now.
She sometimes is like, “thanks, but I changed what you did”. She’s really nice and appropriates that we all try to make things better, even if sometimes she doesn’t like our outcomes. But she’s always nice about it

@dread pirate: Aw, well hopefully they call back again. Can't expect everyone to be available 24/7. That's just silly.
@Aisukohi: I mean yeah They should I just don't know when. They did call yesterday so maybe they booked some interviews for today. I had my phone in the car and couldn't find it till like 6 so I called today.

I'm heavily involved in the hiring process where I work, and it baffles me when people fall off the face of the earth. At least have the courtesy to call and say you're no longer interested.

@Aisukohi: Oh after some phone tag I have an interview set up for tomorrow at 1pm.
@Totalanimefan: no just hit I think a week of no job because the one I had was straight up lying to me/my team.

@dread pirate: What kinds of tests does the lab do that you're interviewing for?
@Aisukohi: A ton like you name it they probably do it so like blood work and junk

@Lina: that was my first job too I loved it its just they paid minimum and wouldn't give over 25 hours

@Dread Pirate: I’m lucky I’ve been there long enough that the boss really relies on me. When I moved I said i would commute to work if they could guarantee my hours every week, and she did! It’s still a small independent shop though, so I’m not paid very much because they can’t afford very much, especially since I have the most hours. But I love it there so much! It’s worth it to me to have a job I love even if I struggle a little with money.

@Lina: Yeah though with my first job it was less than 24 hours usually a week at like 875 I think was what I left there at so I was drowning slowly especially if I wanted to live alone.
My first job was 6.50 an hour. XD
I get 9.50 now, so I’d like to make more. But I have roommates so it’s not too bad
