All right then. he sent back.

"Duly noted." he told Angela.

"I'll have to get the layout here, if I'm going to work here in my future." he said.

"Need to make this place like a second home." he chuckled, before pausing.

"Well... a second home, once I find a home." he clarified.

"But if this intern signing-on cheque is anything to go by... then I don't think finding a place will be very difficult." he reasoned.

Nate was about to respond to Angela, when the voice called out.

He looked over towards where the one it belonged to had called out... just to see a short individual coming.

And he noticed her life aura was filled with vim and vigor. Like it was ready to keep burning brightly for a looooong time.

However, he also noticed that it seemed to have some sort of... tail attached to it.

Vulpine, maybe?

"Peyton?" he mumbled.

"Not a name one hears very often." he commented.

"Hello, Miss Peyton." Nate greeted her respectfully, with a smile.

"And yes, I'm the new intern for the medical wing here." he told her. "Well... I've been accepted as one. I'm not technically a new intern until my first shift." he then added.

"....." he was then silent for a moment, biting his lip a little.

"Your life aura states you're quite fit and healthy." he commented.

"Whatever kind of lifestyle you're leading, it's definitely a beneficial one."

Nate was amazed.

Peyton hadn't questioned him about what he said. Hadn't asked what he meant. Hadn't assumed he was nuts.

It was... completely different for him.

And he loved it. He loved this.

However, once the new name was mentioned, he grew confused again.

"Mira?" he asked.

"Who's Mira?"

NOW Peyton's reaction made more sense to him.

And was suddenly overcome by how absolutely ADORABLE Peyton was now.

"Ohhh, I see." he said.

"Well, that's... fair enough, then." he commented.

"It's nice to meet you, though." he then said to Peyton. "As was said, I'm a new hire, just an intern, but if all goes well, I'll be a newest member of legitimate staff here in the medical wing." he reiterated.

"...." he was then silent for a moment, wondering if he should ask Peyton about... herself... or not.

However, he then decided that he would volunteer a little more info, as a show of good faith.

"And yeah, this place was chosen for me to work at, because... well... I can actually, literally, SEE a person's... life force... or essence... or whatever you want to call it." he told her, giving context to his previous comment about her overall health.

"Huh?" Nate mumbled.

"Hazel?" he asked. "Who's Hazel?" he asked them.

"And NOT meet her? Why?" he then inquired.

"Also, you say that like that's a possibility." he went on.

"If I'm going to work her, and SHE works here, wouldn't meeting her be inevitable?"

Nate paused when Lunet was referred to as his 'escort'.

He KNEW that word had a double-meaning, but he tried to not get flustered over that.

Instead, he cleared his throat a little, and nodded.

"Sounds like it." he replied.

"Over here." he called back to Lunet.

"Well, it was very nice meeting the both of you." he said to Angela and Peyton.

"And Miss Alicja as well."

Nate nodded in response.

"Yep." he replied.

"Very good." he told her.

"I start on Monday and have a schedule for it." he went on.

"...and I won't need financial help for a bit..." he then mumbled.

"Apparently this bonus for signing on as an intern will take care of me for... a WHILE..."

"...." Nate was silent as she said that.

"That's... a good idea." he admitted.

"I need to see about finding a place." he went on.

"Maybe find a studio apartment about a half-hour or so from the building." he went on.

"Or... well, whatever's available." he sighed.

"It's probably going to be a hassle, but a necessary one."

"That is really nice of you guys." Nate responded.

"Anyway, let's get moving." he finished with a smile.

Nate looked over towards her, as he finished putting the label on one of the cabinet drawers. Once he was sure it was on straight, he cast his gaze over towards her once more, and smiled.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"Thanks." he replied.

"I figured a system should be put into place, things properly labeled, and all that." he went on. "Now, ideally, nobody should have any issues finding anything in the future." he added.

"Hell, I've actually created an index system for people that might be a bit overwhelmed by this." he finished.
