"Of course he is. Do you really think he'd be one to spill the beans. Erica is his prize, and until he has her completely, he won't give another a chance." Anya commented after a moment or two.

"He recorded me." Erica commented, answering the question.

"has been extorting me since. Five grand a week....until yesterday. The day before..... I don't even know anymore."

Erica was silent, but that was't too surprising. Anya, on the other hand, seemed to be thinking about things.

Before anything more could be said, though, Azazel's phone chimed, signalling that he had another text.

Balphagor is on the surface, huh? What's he done now? The text was from Lilim.

... huh. You might be better off just forgetting her. Doubt he'll be willing to let her go. Lilim responded as Anya sighed.

"I'm not sure. She had a large network, but then she was exiled, remember?" She asked.

"A lot have cut contact with her - at the behest of her 'family'."

Anya paused before laughing lightly.

"Sad, but very true." She commented.

"That may be something that can be taken and used against him." She added.

"Bait and switch, for a dangerous prize, or something, maybe?"

To each their own, but he doesn't play fair, or nice. Could be your funeral, along with your friends.

"He.. might be charmable." Anya then said after a moment or two.

"Roxie?" Erica asked.

"Is that her name...? I don't know. The succubus." Anya then said before smirking.

"Doubt he's immune to my webbing. You're not immune, Az." She added before pausing.

"well, not completely susceptible, either."

"I think that's the best way to go about it, then." Anya commented.

"If you want to free Erica, or posisbly free her, from his grasp, then yeah... That may be the best way go to about it." She continued.

"However, there's no guarantee it will work."

Anya just paused.

"..... ok, first off, I'm willing to try. He doesn't know me, and shouldn't know that I'm involved with you or Erica in any way." She commented.

"Roxie, I'm not sure." She continued befor esighing.

"Lilim.... well, keep one thing in mind. She's the most demonic of us on the surface, that you associate with." She continued, 'And there's a very good chance she'll do something without you realising it."

"You sure you're good?" Anya asked after a moment or two.

"And do you want me to hang around, or do something, or anything at all?" She then asked.

"Because, just say the word. I like Erica, don't really want to see her be permanently turned into an extension of his will."

Anya just stepped up and gave Az a hug.

"I know." She said simply.

"I'll do what I can." She assured him before sighing.

"For now," She continued, stepping back, "I'm going to go see what I can do for this. Hopefully I can find something that might help." With that,she waved, before vanishing from where she was.

She appeared back home and looked around, before pausing. Her best chance of success would be to either touch on her infernal network... or to inquire at the Unit.

The latter would liekly be quicker.

So, with that in mind, she vanished from where she was, appearing in the room off to the side of the entryway, and stepped out. She didn't know who was manning the desk, just that it wasn't going to be Jake as he had the day off.

Anya paused.

"I ...." She started before sighing.

"Well, I need to speak with Sharp." She said simply.

"He available for the moment? It's pertaining to someone under his employ here." She added after a few seconds.

"Eh? What's going on?" Izea asked as she quickly typed up an email and sent it to Hal.

"I'd rather not get into details with anyone else. I just need to ask if Sharp is willing to help me out."
