"Well, we're both fluent in the language." he said.

"If you feel safe to, we can go there." he told her.

"I might know of a few places with lovely atmosphere and wonderful food." he suggested.

"If you'd feel more comfortable with here, we can have it brought here." he countered with a small shrug.

"What is the lady's choice?" he asked her with a smirk.

Hollie just chuckled lightly.

"Let's go there. Should be a nice treat." She answered as she got to her feet.

About two weeks later, Aimee and Alexandre were in Hollie's office, waiting for the last person to arrive. They'd spent the past week and a half gutting the place of all the dust, and getting it ready to be livable. Through it all, they hadn't properly met the man that had sold the house to Hollie.

Now, before they were prperly given the keys to the place, they were meeting him. Made sense, as he was the one that possessed the key still.

Which Hollie admitted was purely for an excuse so they could meet him.

They'd been waiting for about 15 minutes, before there was a knock on the door.

"Mr. Sharp is here." the voice said.

"Send him in." Hollie responded.

A few seconds later, the door opened, and Hal stepped into the room.

"Hello, hello." he greeted those that were there.

"Ah, hello, Hal." Hollie greeted with a smile.

"Thank you for coming out." She added.

"Now, some introductions are in order." She added with a chuckle.

"Aimee, Alex, this is Hal Sharp.' She said to the two of them. Aimee looked over to Hal with a smile.

"Hello." Aimee greeted with a soft smile.

"Hello." he greeted him.

"Hal Sharp, liaison between Triad and Council." Hal introduced himself.

"Good to finally meet you." he said.

"I hear the place looks like it wasn't abandoned now." he then chuckled.

"Well, that's what happens when one sets to work there." She commented.

"Nearly killed me though, I swear." She added under her breath.

"I was unaware of that fact." he admitted.

"My apologies for putting you in such a situation." he apologised.

Lex just shook his head.

"She stepped outside before it got REALLY bad." he assured them.

"I was there to help her, as well." he added.

"But we managed, obviously." he added with a smile and a nod.

"Please, don't worry about me. I'm fine." She said with a chuckle.

"It's just something I need to live with, nothing more." She added.

"Plus, I do rather enjoy cleaning. I prefer feeling useful than useless."

"I can understand that." Hal replied.

"Well, as long as you're all right." he said, making his way to a chair and sitting down.

"Now that the pleasantries are out of the way..." he went on with a chuckle, pulling a pair of identical silver keys out of his pocket.

"I believe these are yours." he told Aimee and Lex, setting them down in front of them, on Hollie's desk.

"Congratulations." he said.

"You know have official entry into the house. Your new home."

"Just... thank you." She added with a light shaking of her head. It wasn't hard to tell that she was fighting back tears.

"No. You're not." Hal responded.

"I've already been repay more than well enough by your Aunt, and this just started as a random act of kindness, anyway." he told them.

"So you are not in my debt. At all." he assured them.

"...." Lex was silent, as he grabbed one of the keys.

"Wow." he said.

"You even made them really nice." he commented.

"A little flair here and there never hurt anyone." Hal chuckled.

"Still... thank you... so much..." Lex said quietly.

"You're both very welcome." Hal responded with a kind smile.

"Hal, would you like to take them to their new home?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Let them see what you and I did with it over the last couple of days." She suggested with a smirk. They pair of them had fully furnished the place, but hadn't told either of those that were going to move in there.

"Ah, yes. I am, anyway." Lex answered.

"What about you?" Hal then asked Aimee.

"...ready to go home again, Aimee?" Lex asked her quietly, with a small smile.

"Yes. YTes I am." She answered honestly.

"Then go on. No need to hang around here." Hollie said with a light laugh.

"Oh, right. Alex? Be sure to speak with someone French so you can teach your sister." She then said.

"As you'll be living in France."

"Right." he said.

"Got it." he told her.

"I'll be sure to do that immediately." he said further, before thinking about it.

"Perhaps Jeanne d’Arc... maybe Voltaire..."

"I don't have the language boost you do, but at least I'm a quick study when it comes to languages." Aimee commented after a moment or two.

Hollie shook her head.

"Not at all." Was her answer.

"Please, the pair of you can just head off with Hal, who I trust will make sure you're set up and comfortable." She added with a chuckle as Aimee got to her feet.

"Of course. I'm sure you're busy." She said to Hollie.

"Thank you so much, Aunt Hollie." She added with a smile.

"Yes, thank you, Aunt Hollie." Lex echoed.

The two of them then each gave Hollie a hug, before stepping close to Hal. Once they were ready, they all said goodbye to her, and the next thing Lex and Aimee knew, they were standing in the backyard of the house that was their new home.

"Let's go." Hal said, as they made their way to the front door.

"Go on." Lex said to Aimee.

"You can be the first one to use a key to unlock the door and step in." he told her.

Hal just smiled lightly, and nodded in agreement with the decision.

Didn't didn't say anything, just looked to the door, nodded, and approached it. She slid the key into the lock, turned it to hear the click, before opening the door and stepping inside with her brother following.

"Oh my." She said quietly as she looked around, took in the fact it was more full than when they had last been there.

"I... had no expected this." She admitted
