I think they wait until after Christmas/holiday time to do the winter event because so many people get busy. So they maybe don’t want to do this one too soon and have a big gap between them.

I love this time of year in general, and that's a good point about the timeline of events! I definitely tend to be busy during the holidays.

I’m 100% obsessed with the stitched ci. It’s too cute to pass up. I almost bought a second one. :3
I try to always get one of each crate item when they come out. They’re cheapest right away and I can always sell it later if I don’t end up using it. (Although I have a bunch of items I can’t sell) :3

and then it getting dark earlier outside is fucking me up

i usually only get them if i really want a specific set or pose ... i feel like on voltra there's not as much of an economy culture of like, ppl do things just to make volts ? (like buy low sell high kind of stuff) - like it's mostly , ppl get items if they want them, and maybe extra just in case (vs. like as a "business")
i think i have a hard time selling stuff Lol i'm like oh well what if some day i'll find a use for it lol

i just don't get why daylight savings works in the direction that it does ... like it already gets dark early in winter, why do we want it to get dark an hour earlier?? lol
sometime told me it's for like agriculture etc , i guess for really early morning risers maybe ........ ?

@xvz: I used to get just 1 crate every month or two; but I’ve ended up falling in love with items later that I don’t have and wishing I had gotten it. Now I buy all the crates and orbs!!

Yep, it's for the benefits of those in agriculture, is what I was told too. Personally, I'd rather do away with it altogether because it always throws everyone off.
They were a smart choice for this month since they definitely went with the holiday lol.
