I'm considering renaming my collective / system of alters something else. We use the name "Vitreus System" but most people assume it means like, eye disease or something? when I meant to name it like, as a synonym of a gem/crystal. I might name the system "Selenite System", because I think the name is more... recognizable as to what it really is.
Unless "vitreus" IS recognizable as a gem/crystal and not an eye disease thing??

I know selenite for whatever reason but I'm drawing a blank why I know it. But i know 'ite' tends to be more rock/gemstones
