@xvz: I think is not different to other countries. Ubers are pretty famous here too but we do have streetcars in Downtown. But our subway system is pretty simple than NYC. I think riding a train in New York will give me so much anxiety x.x

Wow I never knew that but then again idk much about America. We have a Vietnamese restaurant nearby too and I've been there a couple of times already.

nyc is def expensive lol rent especially ... normally what you're paying for tho is like, the city and all its offerings and all the great ppl , there are a lot of communities here that i don't think would thrive the same way in other places

i think the transit system can be v overwhelming at first , but after a while you definitely get used to it! when i was new to the city i had my fair share of subway confusion (wrong stop, wrong transfer, wrong direction, etc. lol)

The draw for me to cities is very specifically the food. In small towns you get an occasional Mexican restaurant, Chinese, and then a crap done of chained garbage places. and then a whooooooole supply of delis and breakfast places with just eggs, sausage and homefries basically. But you want to try korean? Japanese? Vietnamese? Brazillian? Greek? ANYTHING BESIDES A STUPID BURGER. . . gotta find a city. T.T

ah that's fair about the city crowds, i don't like big crowds and also loud noises, though the sounds i did get used to a little lol
well, at least right now, it's been as un-crowded as ever (and thankfully so)
toronto is considered a p major city tho right? i guess maybe less densely packed than nyc tho but it does also depend on the neighborhood - like most ppl don't live in manhattan but will live in like brooklyn and queens which have totally different vibes

yeah something that is nice too is how many local establishments there are here! to be fair i love diner food hehe

it's getting cold enough to be able to enjoy hot drinks!! i've been drinking hot chamomile green tea today and i think it's helped w trying to relax a bit
and in the mornings i've been looking forward to a hot coffee!

I have herbal ones mostly.
Orange Passionfruit, Cranberry Pommegranate, Jasmine Green, Camomile, Chai, Earl Grey, etc
I even picked up a seasonal one: Toasted Coconut Almond Bark. Mmmm!
I love all of those types. None specifically as a favorite.
I do prefer the ones listed to anything like Lemon or Peppermint, not my top favorite flavors.

ooh those sound v good! i've never tried toasted coconut almond bark but that sounds really good, lmk what you think!
i've been getting more herbal teas lately since they're nice to drink in the evening and at night w/o worrying abt the caffeine keeping me up
it's usually calming and it's nice to have something warm and soothing to drink too (that isn't just water)

i think i usually prefer like earthier flavors over fruit? i got a fall spice style kind recently and sometimes i'll do ginger if i feel unwell
i really like black tea but i can only have it during the first part of the day lol and i try to avoid it if i've already had coffee for the day

xvz - I had never tried it before. It is interesting tasting. Not something I can drink a lot of or multiple cups during the day of, but good for about once a week type of cup.
Yeah, warm and soothing is good. I got a cup of Chai at the moment.
Nice! Fall flavors are wonderful. One of my kiddos got a cup of Pumpkin Spice for herself.
I love both black, green, and white teas.
Haven't ever tried any of the matcha teas though, so I don't know if I like those or not.
My husband likes coffee, but it's not for me. Too bitter tasting.

Sha - I still need to go on a trip up there sometime. We went to the Brooklyn area recently to get my brother in law who was going through a rough time. He's going to be staying with us for a week or so. The trip was a 6 hour drive up there, 8 hours back [because of more stops and coffee breaks since my mother in law was driving and did not really sleep for a full 24 hrs.]

It's adorable. The kids have watched a lot of the videos on Youtube about it and enjoy playing too.
It can be hard to figure out who it is sometimes.
