My dad was super supportive as well. :) He's an artist himself . He's about to have some of his art published in his third book. The others were both brilliant star books I believe. Which is this religious text basically for my religion.(baha'i)
I have a drawing tablet and a new art program but I'm still learning digital art with an actual pressure pen. So much improvement to go still.
Hopefully I will. I'm used to brushes and stuff with real mediums. So learning how to get similar textures etc on a computer has been challenging. But I'm working on it.
