yeah i would hate for a space i use a lot to be "under construction" for a long period of time ... i'd imagine it being kind of stressful to live w renovation-level mess in a space you need and can't avoid? like there would have to be a second bathroom for me to consider a bathroom renovation or something

oohh is it worse when you look at blank surfaces? or is it bc it's light colored? (or a combo of things?)
i used to think i wouldn't be into white walls... but i think given my tendency to hoard i think white does help w lessening visual clutter / making the space feel more open and light (also since white also reflects light the best)
i don't usually go for things in white cuz i don't like feeling stressed abt getting stuff dirty or stains lol ... but off white i actually don't mind and i think since they're walls i'm less likely to, idk, drip spaghetti sauce on it or something lol

I'm busy at work but I'm also home so it's no biggie. I honestly have been enjoying this WFH all the time thing. I... will have a lot of adjusting to do if/when we ever get back to going into the office on a regular basis.

i Love not commuting! my commute used to be an hour each way too ... i did usually get a lot of reading done though which was kind of nice, but it was still so exhausting and used up so much of my daily energy for me

priestess how long do you think you can keep wfh for? my company told us we'll have until next july at least (possibly longer?)
some ppl are kind of eager to go back but i'd rather stay wfh lol

It's kind of ambiguous for us right now. Our company already let us work from home when needed, but if you did it a lot your co-workers gave you the stink eye. I'm hoping this experience changes that. I know they already OKed one person in my dept to work from home indefinitely because she moved to a different city. She's been with the company forever though and losing her would be BAD NEWS for all of us lol. She knows so much.

Anyway it doesn't seem like they're in a hurry to "get back to normal" especially since we're doing just fine with workload and deadlines.
