I've never really had to use skin care products so it's something knew I'm trying. My husband and best friend like to point out that I have a million blackheads (that never exit my skin as acne just kinda sit there) and I went ONG WTF ARE THOSE. And so there has been a learning curve xD 😂😂 these big strong manly men have been teaching me skin care.

Skincare isn't limited to gender! I'm a pretty masculine dude and I try to keep good care of my face and skin. I suggest witch hazel toner and Cerave foaming facial cleanser for keeping your face clean and clear :0 (Note: Use the facial cleanser first, and then the toner)

Nah I'm specifically talking about these two people not all manly men. XD and even more specifically my husband. He fully falls for the advertisement trap of "this shampoo is for MEN" and will not touch anything labeled as a women's product because he is not a woman so it can't possibly be perfectly fine for him. And they were my first experience with guys who were all yeah cleanliness is awesome here is like a million ways you can do this and this and this.
Most "manly men" I grew up with were like soap, shampoo, deodorant spray. Were good.
I'm all. I have soap bars shampoo and conditioner... Isn't that enough? XD
Well that was long winded and I'm bad at explaining. Lmao. I'm going to have to look both of those up later. My next step is I really want to learn makeup. And not look like a discount barbie doll.

Toner helps keep your pores closed aka less acne! You swipe it all over your face - minus the eyes, and mouth ofc, with a cotton ball or cotton pad.
If you have a hard time keeping blackheads off your face, you could do a face mask! I prefer sheet masks, since it's easier to wash off, though if you want a strong acne kicker get a clay mask - I'm sure there's recommended ones on amazon and stuff. You will have to spend like 15 minutes washing off a clay mask but your face will be VERY clean!!
Makeup's hard for me, I have to admit. I'm not good with anything but brows lol. My suggestion is to learn how to blend eyeshadow! The technique is super useful for other areas of makeup (blush, contour, etc). I suggest a beauty blender/makeup sponge type thing for liquid foundation instead of a brush, since I feel it looks more... natural?? lol

I used to be super into makeup and stuff but I'm kinda out of that phase so I just maintain my skincare and take good care of my horrible thick curly hair lol

@Nephila: Forgot to actually answer the first question. I'm doing okay. I'm not as depressed as I was for the last 2 years. Starting to feel human again. Finally am living in a house. Moved in Sept 30th, and I'm still unpacking and cleaning. I can only do so much daily in 24 hours with three kids running around. lol
My newest little one just turned 1 :D she's a toddler and does not sit still ever. How have you been?

I've been letting the girls figure out how to use their skincare cleanser on their own.
I don't do a lot of makeup myself. If I do, it's only eye shadow and rarely some lipstick. [I prefer chapstick cause my lips always feel dry]
I never like bump threads myself. That's why I can proudly say all my posts are from making sentences. Veeeery rarely [ALMOST NEVER] will I submit anything 3 words or less. I can't say I have never because I don't want to go through alllll my past posts, lol. But even in the spam threads, there is chatter from me. Hehehe.
