ooh i've yet to really have a soup making phase ... other than noodle soup and chili .... egg drop.... and i guess i've made chicken soup / chicken noodle from scratch before in the past ?

@xvz: i don't know if i have a soup phase so to speak. Just that it's incredibly helpful on cold days. xD
and for our wedding hubby and i said we needed a crockpot. so we received 3
