@xvz: lol - it's a combination of things, really. Yes, they are smart. Yes, we took (and are taking) advantage of a dual-enrollment program and a really good local "community" college. And we homeschooled since birth... and no, not the crisis school-at-home stuff many of you guys are doing now with your little ones. So we had some flexibility with our times, timing, and therefore opportunities. It has worked out well for them. For us.

You're a sneak little impostor!

I like onions, but I would NOT be able to eat them like apples.

Pineapple, probably the only food that as you eat it, it eats you back. The juice is used to break down meat for tenderizing. The enzymes or whatever in it attack your mouth, which is why your mouth gets sore when you eat a lot of Pineapple.

I'm allergic to peanut butter, red grapes and concord grapes, red wine, adhesive , possibly some types of rubber, pineapple, and some kind of undetermined metal but gold seems to be fine cause I can wear my ring.

we always soak fresh pineapple in salt water before eating it - I think it makes it less painful to eat?? not sure why tho, but it's interesting

@xvz: Yes, we have a good relationship and I do think homeschooling them helped keep it that way. Yes, it was a lot of work sometimes, but I didn't do it in a vacuum - there's a lot of support and community available to help. I've put them in classes and I've taught classes at homeschool co-ops. There have always been good people -good adults around that they can talk to, which helped too. And even the tough parts are probably a lot easier than trying to figure out what the heck "teacher 1" is trying to teach them, or what they mean by this homework assignment or whatever - I didn't have to get in to other peoples' heads, so to speak.
