Well that would be why we're getting alerts - Eta is just south of us (I'm in the Tampa Bay area of Florida), so things should be "fun" around here for the next day or so

@selenite: Thank you Miss Sunny. We'll be fine. This is a "baby" storm in the scheme of things. It'll just be rainy and maybe windy here, and we'll be avoiding the beaches and rivers that tend to be affected by tides, etc.

Thank you Miss Sunny. I'm sure we'll be fine........ although I'm looking at the forecast more closely now and it's projected to cross Tampa Bay??? That won't be very good for this area. That could actually get pretty ugly. -grumbles-

@Totalanimefan: Yeah we didn't put up the hurricane shutters or even move anything around to secure it other than a couple of things that were already blowing around a little bit. Yes, I know we'll be fine. I'm really not worried about it. No, we're not close enough to the coast to have that be a concern. Thanks though. I guess I really should force the issue with the dogs though and get them out for a walk before the rain gets worse...
