@Totalanimefan: mostly Tang Soo Do (black belt/instructor), but we've done several: korean, filipino, israeli, japanese, etc., styles over the years between us all.

My Time at Portia was a lot more charming than I was expecting it to be. It's got a lot of problems but they're well outweighed by the super fun systems and sweet characters.
You gotta be ready to feel the crunch though.
I played a Rune Factory game before and enjoyed it. I should probably get Rune Factory 4 Special sometime. I definitely plan to get 5 when it's released
@Totalanimefan: I've done TKD as well, but was in TSD for 6 years and instructing classes (much more of a process than "just" being a black belt, like a lot of other systems, btw). I stopped because my kids just really needed my less divided attention (I'd say undivided but that's not the reality) at that time.
I actually bought a game today though. It's a game called Kynseed on Steam. It's in early access, but it was 10% off and seems like my type of game. I'll probably play it a bit later~

@Totalanimefan: They did for a while. The elder received his black belt. The younger went off to do krav maga instead
@totalanimefan: but my teaching TSD classes, while also being expected to take 3 bb classes a week (it was a demanding schedule), was taking too much time away from my ability to prepare and monitor their regular school work, which was the priority (especially since we homeschool - lol!)
