i made some chickpea coconut curry (also w green beans haha! it was the only frozen veggie i had left ... though i think it would maybe go better w cauliflower and/or peppers!) oh and some old carrots and spinach i needed to finish haha
it came out p good!!! v generously spiced lol , i made a bunch so am gonna have the leftovers today too :-D

@xvz: Yes, it's a recipe I have around here somewhere that sounded good and I wanted to try it. I've done similar things in the past and it comes out well. The apples add an unexpected sweetness and juiciness to the meat that is a nice change of pace from some of the other options. Plus, apples are in season and the last time I looked, we had a lot of them!
Your chickpea curry sounds wonderful! I'm glad it came out well and that you have leftovers. Things like that really lend themselves to leftovers too and it saves on the cooking!

the world is ending...makes me feel why should i bother trying to make my art into a career.
so i've not been feeling good at all mentally.
that's why i am studying. to get better at fundamentals. but my tablet doesn't have much pen pressure
so it doesn't blend very well, and krita settings are super picky.
so im just thinking in the future i'll end up switching to PS. despite how expensive it is.
I've tried autodeskbook but my comp literally can't handle it at all.
most programs my laptops can't handle.

i dump everything in a pot and the spices i use are: 2 tbsp curry powder, 1 tsp: paprika, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, red pepper flakes (whichever of these i have on hand works tho, i think really just the curry is important and everything else is kind of optional!)
and then salt + pep :3
and then i'll have it over rice!

@xvz: Oh! I also have some sweet potato leaves growing that I think I'm going to harvest and cook up at some point this weekend... so long as the deer don't come through and eat them first (again)
