@0v7: i've used ps in the but it was before the things i know now.
tho i only used it to do a 3D effect for a sticker idea and using gradient maps. so if i can get commissioned sometime next year i want to try to afford it and test it out with my now knowledge of arts lol
csp i sorta like but my laptop doesnt. my processor is only core i3 with 4gb RAM so it can barely handle doing the bare minimum lol.

@MoodyB: I love gradient maps - easy way to put an Instagram-like filter on art :D I used Photoshop as a graphic designer for.. touching up photos mostly.
CSP must be really intense D: I hope when I get it my computer can handle it. How does Krita run for you?

@0v7: yeah. csp has gradient maps too but i havent used them so no idea how well they work.
krita crashes frequently on my small laptop, and constantly need to fiddle with the brush settings.
on my regular laptop i cant use large brushes for painting or use it at all. which is why i use it on my smaller laptop but overalk my tech for art is junk lmao

@MoodyB: They should work better than Krita's I think. Krita's are nice but limited.
I fiddle with my brush settings sometimes - mostly when using experimental brushes. Otherwise, I use the default round hard brush with added pressure sensitivity. I can't draw at all on my laptop so I relate TwT

@0v7: my tablet has limited pen pressure so my lines come out badly except in csp as it has a stablizer to help smooth them out.
in krita the lines just dont work how i need them to draw as lines are the foundation of my work. especially for hair.

@MoodyB: Have you tried Krita's stabilizer? I use the weighted option, but the actual stabilizer helps me a bit with the more precise lines :0

@0v7: it lags way too much. and slows everything down And i draw lines quick so it doesnt work for me.
and krita constantly crashes and freezes on me too so csp is all i can use right now. which also crashes and freezes on me lol.

@0v7: With my current laptop probably not because it's not the programs fault doing it.
It's just because my computer is super weak and cannot handle barely anything.
But no idea when i'll get a new computer, so im just dealing with the annoying issues and just studying my butt off
so my art will feel worthy of commissioning lol.
