Hello and welcome to what I like to call “Common Couture”. This thread is dedicated to hosting an avatar contest that focuses on common items rather than a theme. This is an entirely user run event and is not associated with avatar of the week. During contest periods the section ”Current Contest & Prize” will show a few common items that are being showcased as required to wear for the contest.

Sometimes there is one item, sometimes there are multiple, and sometimes there is a color requirement for them as well, it all depends on the contest cycle. You will have to buy the common item yourself to participate.

This will not be a weekly contest, but the goal is to have 1-2 contests a month.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

❤ One entry per person!

❤ No mule accounts.

❤ You must include the items from the current contest on your avatar and they must be visible! (Example, if the item is shoes you cannot wear a dress that covers the whole item, at least 50% of the item should be exposed.)

❤ When you are submitting an entry please ping Me (Fading Kings) and wait for me to confirm your avatar before changing. Once you submit an avatar you cannot change it.

❤ The voting process will be conducted in Voltra Discuession. You can find the current link to voting None at the moment there is no voting period. The period of voting depending on the number of entries. In case of a tie I will use a random generator to decide the winner. This is not a blind contest your name and avatar will be posted under entries. You will be pinged when the voting begins.

❤ There must be at least five participants for prizes to be distributed.

❤ Whoever has the most votes will be crowned the grand prize winner and win the current prize.

❤ You are more than welcome to chat here 😊

❤ You may use an avatar you have saved in your closet but it must be an avatar that you created, not one someone made for you.

❤ You cannot submit the same avatar twice.

❤ I reserve the right to add or remove rules as needed (just in case as this contest develops)

❤ You have one week from when my mule Couture sends the trade for your prize to accept or the prize will be rolled over into the next round of the contest. There are exceptions if you inform me ahead that you are moving/out of town/excreta.

❤ If there are more than ten entries I have to use Survey monkey for voting which means there will be a limit of 40 responses.
