@Wildfire: yep overall pretty good; though one friend in question didn't really understand anything lol ...and they kept commenting on the appearance of the idols, so that was mildly irritating.
oh and one of the groups had one of the members on sick leave, but they had performed as well (I assume from pre-filming), and this guy looked like he was in a fair amount of pain in the dances :/

yeah! its been helping me get over my fear of painting and making it ugly.
now im okay with the ugly art lol.
and been experimenting with brushes and blending techniques. making hard edges will be new challenge.

but need to make some hard edges.
it looks too soft since my tablet cannot blend due to the low pen pressure.
so i have to rely on the airbrush/blur tool

My current software is guilty of blending weirdly - I'm using CSP and it's certainly taking a bit to adjust to >w>;

@MoodyB: It was gifted for me by my brother but is nothing fancy just a huion h1060p drawing tablet and is not really giving me much issues so far.
Yeah I get what you mean I have a perfectionism problem which is why I don't try much on new things related to art. So good for you for giving it a shot anyway :3
