I have the house entirely to myself today (dogs excepted) and honestly, it's just really nice to have that "completely mine" space. I'm currently listening to classical music, drinking coffee and just chillin' ;)

@sunny: Yes, and there's a certain freedom in knowing that it's just you... that you, and you alone, are responsible for everything that happens (or doesn't happen) today. It's counter-intuitive, and yes, I would miss my family if this happened all the time, but it relieves a certain amount of and type of stress!!
