@okios: haaa yeah the local tax sucks. Everybody complains about Illinois income tax and Michigan's was way higher if I recall correctly? Even since getting my state residency income tax seems much lower than what I'm used to, so I guess it evens out.

@roseywitch: it's a really small world! There's a TON of us concentrated in Northern Illinois, it seems like.
Idk if you know the area more toward the lake, but I live in Waukegan, next to Gurnee, and just south of Kenosha, WI. To put it into perspective a bit. I could be at a game shop in Kenosha in about 15 minutes, including the time it would take to get my shoes/jacket on.
